3 Day Cruise - Pirate Night and Beach Towels

I have read on the board of a Pirate Night that sounds like a lot of fun. Is it available on the 3 day cruise as well?
Oh and one more thing, did you bring beach towels for the family or were they furnished? Just trying to save on packing space.... Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom! Can't wait to leave, only 4 more days!

Hi. We did Pirate Night on 2/25. We only stayed for a bit because my 4 year old was falling asleep standing up, but we had fun! We danced, saw the characters take over the ship, Mickey saved the day, we did the Cha Cha Slide, etc... and the bandanas were cool!

As far as the beach towels, don't bring your own. They have tons of towels at the pools, and as you get off for Castaway Cay. Plus, if you buy any from Castaway Cay, you'll have room to bring them home!

We signed up for the snorkeling excursion in Nasau, no need for towels there either?

DCL provides towels for all excursions booked through them. there will be a meeting place onboard for your excursion and they will have carts set up with towels.

Note: the towels by the pool and the ones they offer on excursions are small, yes you can bring more than one per person, but I like a full size beach towel to be wrapped in and to lay on.

I either bring my own full-sized towel from home, or even better, I usually purchase a DCL beach towel onboard...they have some really great ones and than that is my souvineer of the trip!!!

The Pirate Deck Party was terrific!! We all had a great time dancing. My DH, who is VERY reserved, even tried to learn the electric slide (LOL). It was such a fun atmosphere. And when you start to think you are getting tired from all the dancing and fun, the desert buffet was all set up and ready to go. Be prepared that night at dinner to put on your pirate bandana!!
Don't miss it.
