3 Boys and 20 Hours in a Minivan,I Must Really Love this Place!*New4/22 TR LINK

Epcot Touring Plan—2 Days!—Wednesday April 10 and Thursday April 11, 2013
Crowd Level Prediction—4.3/10 and 5.6/10
Hours—9am-9pm

Wednesday:

This will also be a rope drop day. I don’t know how Nick and Shawna will feel about early mornings, so we may just have to arrange to meet them later when they arrive. This is the last day they will be with us.

:mickeybar Soarin’—ride standby and try to get FP for later

:mickeybar Living with the Land

:mickeybar The Seas with Nemo and Friends

:mickeybar Turtle Talk with Crush

:mickeybar Explore the Main Tank and Exhibits—this bores me to tears, but the boys love it!

:mickeybar Check out Club Cool—it may be Nick and Shawna’s first time. The boys will have to introduce them to Beverly!

:mickeybar Head to Test Track—get FP if we can or ride standby

:mickeybar Mission: Space—I’ll sit this one out (maybe with a Mickey bar!)

:mickeybar Make our way to the World Showcase via Mexico

:mickeybar Explore Mexico and ride Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride

:mickeybar Continue to Norway—we may or may not ride Maelstrom

:mickeybar China Pavilion

:mickeybar Head back to Future World to use FP if we have any

:mickeybar Ride Spaceship Earth on the way out

:mickeybarDinner Reservation at Cape May Café at 7:50—say good-bye to our sweet family

This plan is pretty open and gives us time to do all the FW attractions that we want and spend some time exploring a few WS countries. I think there is plenty of flexibility for meet and greets and also for snacking our way through Mexico, Norway, and China!

Thursday:

Another Epcot Rope Drop Day!

:mickeybarSoarin’ – again! This will depend on standby line wait time.

:mickeybar Sum of All Thrills—this is new for us!

:mickeybar Explore Innoventions West

:mickeybar Head to World Showcase via Canada

:mickeybar We will make our way around the WS from Canada to UK to France

:mickeybar See Impressions de France—this is the only movie we have not seen

:mickeybar Morocco—our FAVORITE pavilion!

:mickeybar Japan

:mickeybar American Adventure Pavilion

:mickeybar Italy and Germany—I need to go to the caramel shop in Germany

We should have plenty of time to head to FW again if we want to do Test Track or Mission:Space one more time. Then we will find a spot to enjoy IllumiNations. I love Epcot at night so after the show we will make a very slow trip back to the front to head out.

Where will I be two weeks from today?? ON THE ROAD and headed to sunny Florida! :drive: :beach:

That deserves a TWO WEEK dance!

It's been a little crazy around here.....that would explain the lack of updating. :rolleyes2 With only 2 weeks to go, it is truly crunch time. I am crossing off to-do list items like crazy.

I promise a full update tomorrow...with touring plans for the last 2 parks and a check on the to do list as well as some random planning tidbits. Ok.....that may take 2 updates. :upsidedow

:cool1: That is soooo aweseome. I'm so cold right now and the thought of a warm and sunny trip in just 14 days sounds like a dream.

TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!

Two back-to-back Epcot days! :faint: That sounds so nice! Love your plans! I can't wait to read all about it when you get back!

Epcot is our favorite park! Two days is a MUST!

Are ya'll not eating in Germany this time? Or did I miss it somewhere?

All of our meals this trip will be OOP so we plan on just eating at CS places as we get hungry. No real firm plans except for the ADR at Cape May Cafe on Wednesday. I hope to try some new things!

Loving your EPCOT plans! We have never checked out the cool club so will try to get to that this trip. Maybe I can trick my DH into trying the Beverly;)

Magic Kingdom Touring Plan—Friday April 12, 2013
Crowd Level Prediction—7.6/10
Hours—9am-11pm

:dumbo: We will start this morning with my very favorite thing ever! The Magic Kingdom Welcome Show! I love this show so much….it always makes me feel like I ‘m 5 years old and I never fail to get emotional. What a way to start our last day at the parks! :thumbsup2

:dumbo: From here, we will make a counterclockwise tour of the Magic Kingdom. I had to play with it a bit, but finally got touringplans.com to spit out a plan I was happy with.

:dumbo: Space Mountain—this was being refurbished on our 2009 trip so my boys are very excited to ride this one again!

:dumbo: Astro Orbiter—this attraction is a “maybe” but if it fits here, we’ll do it. TP says there will be no waiting at this time of day. We’ll see….

:dumbo: Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin—my competitive family LOVES this ride!

:dumbo: Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

:dumbo: Peter Pan’s Flight—again, TP says the wait time will be minimal (16 minutes). We are willing to skip this if the wait is long.

:dumbo: Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid—we may have to wait a bit for this, but it’s new and we all want to see it.

:dumbo: It’s a Small World—can’t NOT do this one!

:dumbo: Pirates of the Caribbean—having just been in the Caribbean, this will be fun!

:dumbo: Jungle Cruise—this ride just makes me laugh!

:dumbo: Swiss Family Treehouse—a sentimental favorite

:dumbo: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad—get a FP which we will use later

:dumbo: Splash Mountain

:dumbo: BTMRR using the FP from earlier

:dumbo: Haunted Mansion—excited to see the new queue

:dumbo: The Hall of Presidents—we want to do this with the boys at least once. We may have to fit it in later in the day, we’ll see.

:dumbo: Find a spot in Frontierland or Liberty Square for the parade-- I will never do a Main Street parade again. UGH!

:dumbo:Mickey’s PhilharMagic—my favorite 3D in WDW!

At this point we have hit all the must do attractions. TP has us done by 4ish. That should give us the early evening to do some favorites again, hit a “maybe” attraction or two, have some food, etc.

We’ll see the early Main Street Electrical Parade and then Wishes to close out the night. :goodvibes

I struggled with not adding Enchanted Tales with Belle. But, ultimately, I know it is not an attraction that my boys will want to stand in line waiting for an hour to see. We can use that Rope Drop time to get other things done that they will enjoy more. If we can, we’ll try to do ETWB late in the day. I’m resigned to missing it.

It was tough to fit the MK into one day. But, I think this plan will allow us to do our favorites.

Sounds like great plans. France is the only attraction we haven't done yet either. I'm determined to do it this time. Probably with my mom bc I know she still wants to do it too.

I love the opening show at MK too. ( 22 days for me left!!! ) :) I can't wait.

My curiosity is officially peaked with this TP. I must go check it out. May have to send a search party. lol

I hope your day(s) at Epcot are less crowded than ours! We went to Soarin' first and then headed right to Test Track and the stand by line was already at 40 minutes. So we got FPs.

No one but me wanted to do the Little Mermaid at MK so we skipped it. :(

Great plans!!:thumbsup2 I can't believe how close you are getting!!!

Your 10 day vacation celebration sounds like so much fun! As much as we loved doing the movie nights before our last trip, it was a lot of work. I would much rather do something like this before our trip. Great idea!!:thumbsup2

I have no idea how accurate the times will be...but the crowd level seems manageable so we'll figure it out! We're skipping Belle, so I want to try to do the Little Mermaid. They can do SOMETHING for me, right? :)

We start tomorrow with our 10 day celebrations! So excited! :cheer2:

It's fun to trick people into trying it. But, you should try it too. It's not "that bad," it's just shocking when you are not ready for it. Super bitter. :goodvibes

:sad1: Ahhh, the things we'll do for our families. If ya wanna go back right now, I'll ride it with ya! ::yes::

Wow! The trip's sooo close. Are ya packed yet? lol... I bet I will be by 11 days out! :rotfl2:

Boo for packing!!! It sounds like the weather knew it was the last night too!

Edited: Ha ha ha!! I had two reports open at the same time & meant this comment for the other report! Sorry! I haven't read your update yet, but I'm all for your type of packing! The other person just posted about pakcing TO GO HOME a the end of her trip! :rotfl2:

You guys are so much more organized then I am. I hate packing and put it off to the last possible second.

Well, we can start early because we won't be needing shorts and swimsuits HERE anytime soon. I like to at least start pulling stuff out and organizing outfits, etc.

Me too! :goodvibes

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

Tonight we started our "10 days till vacation" celebrations. Tonight's theme was "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." I made hot dogs and nachos for dinner....I know, not the most healthy meal...and we had a centerpiece of peanuts and cracker jacks! We also surprised the boys with tickets to the Orioles vs Rays baseball game in Tampa on the night before our cruise.
