DH, 3kids, and I will be rooming with Grampy. Which resort(s) do you think would best accomodate us?
I think all the Value and Moderates limit 4 to a room. If you have any info contrary to this please share it.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!! Skea:D

No onsite room will sleep six. You could get a 2 bedroom villa at one of the DVC hotel (OKW, BW, Beach Club) but the price is very high, probably about $400 or so a night. I suggest two rooms at the All Stars. That would sleep 8 if need be, I THINK you can get them connected or at least very close by each other and the two rooms give you two bathrooms. Prices at the all star vary based on time of year and discount you can get but figure about $75 a night as a ball park figure, you could go as low as $50 a night or as high as $110 based on time of year.

Another option is the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. They have a separate bedroom (full bed, bunk beds) & a Murphy bed in the living room. It sleeps up to 6. There's also a full kitchen. Here's some info:

Ft. Wilderness Cabins

Disney often discounts the cabins....You can check on Mousesavers for codes.

Other options for a family of 6:

Jr. Suite at the Dolphin (maybe the Swan too?)

Deluxe room at WL

Deluxe room at BWI

It sure would be nice if Disney resorts had more options for larger families at a reasonable price.

The most cost effective options onsite would probably be....
2 rooms at the AS
~or~
a cabin at Fort Wilderness
We toured a cabin last year, and I thought they were very cute. With three children, having the kitchen where you could prepare breakfast would be a fantastic option.
On the other hand, the 2 bathrooms at an AS resort would be an added bonus for a group of your size.
Good luck with your decision.

We are a family of 6 and have enjoyed our stays in both the FW cabins and two adjoining rooms at All Stars and Caribbean Beach. The two bathrooms are great in adjoining rooms (at any resort) and the kitchen and little homey feel is also nice that you get with the cabins. Now we are DVC members and the two bedroom villas are the best!
