I'm looking into a Nov. trip and see that I can make a Cinderella's Royal Table reservation @ 3:50 pm. We won't have day park passes but plan instead to attend Mickey's very merry Christmas Party. Do you think they will let us in a few minutes before 4:00 or is this a foolish plan? How long will dinner take at CRT? We've never eaten at CRT and its on our bucket list of to do items, this is the only time we will be at MK this trip. What do you think???

They recommend you get to CRT about 15 minutes before your ADR time, so you should try to be there at about 3:35. However, you won't be let into the MK until 4:00 pm. I remember last year they made the party ticket holders stand in a separate line from those guests with regular tickets and they did not allow the party guests in until 4:00 pm. So, no, I do not think you can get into MK early without regular park tickets.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought, but just wanted to double check. There is a 4:25 pm res we can get, but we may squander our precious time away sitting at the restaurant, then again I don't want to have to buy a day pass just to go there another time to eat. Ahhh decisions, decisions. Then again, if I have pre-paid the dinner and arrive late, will they still seat us??

I think 4:25 ADR would be perfect. The party doesn't start until 7 so you aren't missing any of it and you'll be out of CRT in plenty of time. Go through the gate at 4:00 and go directly and quickly to CRT and check in.

I would take the 4:25 reservation. You'll have plenty of time to enter, walk down Main Street and reach the castle in time when they start allowing people in at 4. The actual party activities won't start until 7 and you'll be finished with dinner long before that.

Taking a chance with the 3:50 reservation is not a good idea. You'll be more than 15 minutes late and they could cancel your reservation even though it's prepaid. At best you won't get to the castle until about 4:10 anyway, which would be the recommended arrival time for the 4:25 reservation.
