Need some advice. I have visited Disneyland 6 times in the last 6 years. We always go over President''s Day weekend. I am a creature of habit and we have a touring plan that has always worked for us. Due to construction on Main St. I assume, there is no Soundsational Parade and I am at a lost as to our afternoon break. We usually try to ride Small World around 2 get a snack let the kids nap in their stroller and the adults sit down and stay near Small World until around 4 or so when the parade is over. What should we do now? We have seen Mickey and the Magical Map once and enjoyed it, it has a 3:35 show. We saw Tangled at the Royal Theater once and enjoyed that. They have a 3:45 show which could be something other than Tangled but could still be nice. Lastly, Laughing Stock Co. has a 3:30 show and we have never had the chance to see that show. Which would you suggest for an afternoon break? Most of our large party is adults but we do have a 4 and 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl in our party. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

If you have a show you enjoy, go ahead and see it again. Otherwise, have you ridden the train since it reopened? The new track is so nicely done. You could ride IASW, get a snack, then board the train at TT station and ride while the kids nap. (You'll see lots of parents riding while their kids nap.) You could make a full circuit, then decide where you would like to disembark. If you choose to get off at Main Street station, you could rest inside the Opera House for a while if the kids are still napping. There is so much to see inside the lobby there and the Disney Gallery is right next door. Or you could go inside the Main Street Cinema and watch the old cartoons for a bit. If the ragtime pianist is playing, you could sit at Refreshment/Coke Corner to watch a set. DL has so much entertainment that it's usually pretty easy to find something to do!

Just a note for Mickey & the Magical Map - no strollers allowed. I had to sit out on the show because my daughter was asleep in her stroller and I didn't want to wake her up by taking her out. The rest of my family saw it without us.
