Good for you. Unfortunately, I can't ask for this credit, but I did save some money on our reservations at the WDW resorts thanks to the spring values savings (which ended on Monday).

Sam - Welcome to our little group! I haven't experienced it yet, but from what I've been reading, once you get over the initial "get all the reservations" the rest of the cruise IS restful. I wouldn't stress out about it too much.
We should plan a group get to gether once we get aboard....Michelle on another thread in the past Meeting at 3:15 for about 1/2hr....gives everybody time to make their ressies prior to meeting then head off to cabin and lifeboat drill.....
She said Pinoccio's worked great for their cruise...this gives everybody time to recognize other DISers before the cruise begins.....
Anybody in for a 3:15 meeting at the outside tables at Pinoccio's for the March 2 cruise......
Let's do it - that sounds like the perfect time. It will give us time to check out the kids' club before that also. Plus, that's right near the Goofy pool, right? The kids can check out the pool while we meet. How should we identify ourselves??
I'm looking around for a hotel for the night of March 1st. My wife and I will be driving down and would like to stay overnight no more than an hour's drive from the port. I've looked at Expedia, and the room rates are all over the place.
Any particular recommendations? Anyone had luck with Priceline in the Cocoa Beach area?
Sam,
Check out Dave's www.dcltribute.com site. He's got a listing of a bunch of hotels on Cocoa Beach you can check out. We're staying at the Holiday Inn because I wanted to be on the beach and it says they have a cool kids pool. I've never used priceline so I can't speak to that. I think alot of people stay at the Hampton Inn.

I've already had my first bad experience. I had a courtesy hold through Disney, so I called to confirm and pay for the cruise. The rate they gave me was a LOT higher (by 40%) than I was told late last week. I protested but Disney wouldn't budge and the reservationist all but called me a liar.
Fortunately, Kerri at A Small World Travel had also placed a courtesy hold for me (only when I asked about the price of a cruise and without my asking), so I have a second option. Left a message for Kerri a few minutes ago as I'm ready to finalize my plans.
As soon as I have a confirmed reservation, I'll work out the land part of the trip.
Paul - I love my digital camera, I'm sure you'll love yours, too! I bought an extra card just in case I want to take hundreds of pictures! I'll be waiting until we get home to download mine.
Kimball - I checked out your badshoe.com site. Wow - where'd you ever get the idea to take pictures of feet?! Pretty humorous. I can't wait to meet the creator.
