Yep, I remember those posts! I was hoping so badly for free dining last year, and we got it!

What's different with this year is that we haven't seen any of the "confirmed rumors" posts like last year at this time. I remember several people posting last year who had supposedly "inside information" and had even the dates nailed down--not only the dates of free dining, but the dates when the Visa holders and general public could start booking. For weeks ahead we knew that Visa holders could book on April 4 last year. I think the dates were even posted well ahead of time on mousesavers, here, allears ,etc. Everyone knew to start calling bright and early on April 4th!

So--I wonder about this year. Are the people with the inside info just not posting this year? . Or....does it possibly mean free dining did so well with bounceback and UK this year that they won't offer it to the general public? . We're not going this year so it's a moot point for me anyway, but hoping to go Sept 2009 with free dining so I'm anxiously watching what happens this year!!
