2nd week in november - disney says it's a

good time to go but i've been reading that it is super crowded actually b/c of "jersey week" or something like that? ANyone go at that time and what was your crowd experience?

"Jersey Week" this year is Nov. 3rd to the 7th. The second week in November shouldn't be too bad.

The only other thing going on is the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot, but I don't know off-hand when that ends.

Our last trip was from Oct 31 to Nov 5---- 1/2 during "Jersey Week" and we found that the crowds increased starting on the weekend, but it was manageable. Nothing like visiting in mid-June (which we did 11 years ago).

We're going from the 4th to the 10th. Had no idea about Jersey Week. It's still better than summer for us since my oldest can't handle the heat.

I have gone in the past that week.... and it has been great. One thing though... that has been the week before thanksgiving the past few years and now this year thanksgiving is the last week of the month, not the third... so not sure if there will be any difference with that or not. Like I said, we always go that week(as it works well for making up homework)... this year we are going the third week.

The weather last Nov was perfect. High around 80 with scattered thunderstorms 1 day while we were there. I would go again in Nov without hesitation, and would actually probably plan so I would go in Nov.

I am going Nov 2 & 3 with dh and another couple (no kids!). We want to do F&WF. Should we change our dates to the next week or week before because of Jersey week?

Nov emeber is the most awesome time to go - the crowds are managable, the weather is amazing, we usually went Veterans day to just before Thanksgiving.

We had to stop going in the off season since DS started 7ht grade - he was having trouble keeping up with his assignments - for the time being we will have ot be the HOLIDAY and SUMMER travellers!!!

Public schools in Jersey have off on Thursday 9-6 and Friday 9-7. Some districts, including mine, have half days from M-W for teacher conferences. Since my kids are young, we fly down on Tuesday afternoon. It is busy but not crazy and with the economy crappy and airfares so high, many families may scrap there plans.

I hope you meant 11/6 and 11/7, and not Sept.

My district has that entire week off. 11/3 to 11/10 off for various holidays.
