:rolleyes1 this is our 2nd trip to dw, 1st one was with local high school band trip, very rushed. tips on enjoying ourselves and dining without going broke. staying at asm in august. my husband  my 17 year old son:cool1: and myself :yay:

When are you planning to go and are you driving, flying? Asking because will you have your own transportation? I know of several very close by restraunts to save you some eating money. KFC, Golden Corral, Pizza Delivery to your lobby, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, McDonalds, etc.:thumbsup2 Or you may post the question about booking a stay with free dining. I don't have the answer to this because we are DVCers, but it is a hot topic right now, so you may just want to start a new post posing that question. Hope it helps you!!!

When are you going in August? Are you eligible for the free dining offer? Dates are 8/26-9/22. I would recommend the dining plan. I think the price is $38.99 per adult. This way everything is paid up in advance. For me it was much more relaxing not to have to worry about the cost of food when we arrived. Have a great trip.:yay:

My first trip back to Disney after several years was just me and DH. We had ADR (advanced dining ressie) at a couple of places. Chef Mickey's was alot of fun. Definately get to the Illuminations, its gorgeous. That's the firworks show at Epcott. There are several things to help you maximize your vaca depending on what you like to do. If you want to get alot of rides in then you can get tips from tourguide Mike.
My sister is the planinng Queen. She helps us everytime we go. However, sometimes it is just as fun to wing it!! Often we do sooo much that I cannot remember what I did. (Maybe thats my age :confused3 )
No matter what...it will be awesome! Have a magical:wizard: time!
