2nd trip to SSR

The family is really excited for our second trip home....August 14th - 21st! Everyone is already debating about what we'll do first!

Have a safe and wonderful trip. We won't get there until Xmas this year. Our June trip had to be given up this year due to my wife's ACL replacement surgery and post-op physical therapy. We miss The Mouse!

She's coming along well, but it has been a strenuous physical therapy. We'll be "running" around WDW over Xmas, and I think she'll do just fine - she did it last year with a "shredded ACL". Doctor said "imagine a bungie cord stretched until it splits" - that's what her ACL looked like. Tough surgery for a 55 year old, but she didn't want to be limited physically for the rest of her life.

Sssteel - glad she is recovering well! I am expecting and have had a hard time this summer with the heat, a sciatic nerve issue, a cyst that was discovered after the pregnancy began - blah blah blah and its KILLING me that we haven't been down in a few months and wont be down again until Christmas so I can imagine how you are feeling! Hope your wife is going full steam by then!

not bad...most of the best rides only had a 20 minute wait! Was told Florida schools stared already.

It's in the mid 90's....but no hotter than our weather when I left Maryland!

Hey we were there at the same time! I was the 37 year old on the motorized scooter with the big black brace on my leg thanks to a freshly torn ACL. We had an awesome vacation anyway! My trip report will follow shortly!
