Weather today - Hot, 78F and sunny
Decided to take a day out from parks today. Up late at 8.00
Drove to Orlando Premium Outlets down the southern end of I-Drive. It was a Sunday so the shops didn't open until 10 and we had 30 mins to kill. Luckily Starbucks was open in the food court so we had a nice tea, coffee and hot chocolate break sitting in the sun and relaxing.
Wandered round the shops all morning being sorely tempted by the shoes, jackets, coats etc.
Chloe picked up a pair of Skechers trainers for $30 - I think they're about £45 back home and Jack got a lovely pair of addidas football boots for $20. Most of the sports goods were fairly cheap but DW was disappointed that perfume was no cheaper than in the UK. We were both slightly disappointed by the discount Disney and Universal shops - they seemed to be filled with dated and unwanted goods.
Eventually dragged DW and DD away from the shops about 3.30 and popped into Wal-Mart for a top up of Coca Cola and cookies. Also bought a birthday cake for Chloe as it's her 10th birthday tomorrow.
Before we came on holiday we had bought a new digital camera and a 128mb card in the belief that the capacity of 250 photos would be enough. This was obviously a gross mis calculation and I decided to buy another card. Bought a 64mb card for $44.
Drove back to the hotel and threw the kids into the pool for an hour or so.
Darryls on I-Drive for dinner tonight which was very reasonable ($33) for the four of us. - No nice waiter for DW to leer at tonight though - I have threatened to spend an afternoon in Hooters to get my own back for yesterday!!
