2nd Solo Trip Booked

SO! I always wanted to see WDW at Christmas time. I don't have the heart to blow off the family christmas though, family is spread out over several cities and all make an effort to be there. So actual Christmas week isn't an option.

I was uncommitted to this trip but checked out the RAT and found that there was still some availability in the 2nd week of December. December 9 - 16. Tried for a studio at BW but only preferred available, don't want to spend the extra points. Last time I booked that I got the community pool, but really no view because a huge tree was blocking the entire balcony. Could see that there was a pool back there through the leaves. So I tried for BC studio, the whole week was available, but I hesitated and went back on an hour later. Only Dec 12-16 available. Booked it while it was still there. Went back over to BW and booked Dec 9-12 in a BWV 1 bedroom. It's only me, but what the heck. It might be the only time I get in at that time, the way bookings are going there.

So happy.

However, my last solo trip was for food and wine festival in 2012, lots of stuff to keep me busy at that time-wine seminars, food demonstrations etc. I'm a bit nervous about having a solo trip at this time. I hope it isn't a disaster. I'm thinking to book some nice dining during the week to treat myself.

Anyone else gone solo at that time of year?

I've gone the first week of December solo several times. I loved it and made sure to plan time touring the Deluxe resorts during those trips. I also go to MVMCP.

Have fun! I'm going in October alone. I'm considering doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Last time I was alone I ate at Flying Fish. It was so nice to have a relaxing meal with just myself and a good book!

Can I just say it sounds fabulous and I’m a little jealous? Never done a solo trip but it’s on my bucket list
