I am wanting to see F! before it goes down for a year. Due to work and school the only day I know I can go is on November 15th. But I won't be in the park until like 5pm. I am thinking of doing PtN and Fireworks then F! I haven't seen either PtN or the new fireworks. So is this possible? Also will I be able to get FP for the second showing of F! at that point, should I do a dining FP, or is me doing standby possible? It is just me so I don't need a lot of room but I am short so I am not a big fan of standing during F! unless I can be in front.

Also cause I have never seen it where is the best place to watch PtN and DF where I don't need to camp out forever? Again it is only me and I'm cool with standing during the parade as long as I can see.

November 15th is the last day of the Avenger's Marathon and part of the kick-off weekend for the holiday season, so I would go expecting high(ish) crowds. That being said, it does seem like F! FPs are lasting longer now (than earlier this year). So I think there is a chance you'll be able to get one at 5:00 pm, but if you want to be certain that you'll get one, I'd look into the dining package (maybe the Aladdin dining package because it's the least expensive and you can take the food to-go). If you want to be seated on the ground during F!, the only viewing areas with guaranteed ground seating are for the two TS dining packages (Blue Bayou and RBT). There may be ground seating in other viewing areas, but they aren't guaranteed and you'll have to hustle to get over to the F! viewing area after fireworks so you stand a better chance of getting into one of those areas. With a dining package, it's less of an issue.

In terms of PtN and Disneyland Forever, that's a tougher question. In mid-October (weekday), the prime viewing spots for PtN were filling up anywhere from 1 to 2 hours before the parade stepped off from IaSW (first parade). Given the timing of the two shows, they've really schedule it so that guests will watch fireworks from wherever they viewed PtN. I, personally, like fireworks from Main Street, so I tend to aim to watch PtN and fireworks from somewhere on Main Street (closer to the hub). I think if you really want to see the parade, you'll have to start looking for your spot somewhere between 1 and 2 hours before it starts.

Thanks! I didn't realize it was a marathon weekend. I think I am going to do the Aladdin's Oasis dining package because it is cheaper than the other two, the meals seem like stuff I might actually like and I would pay about that for dinner anyway so why not get a FP out of it. So with that do I get to choose which F! I see when I get my FP?

PtN and fireworks aren't that big of deal because after the holiday season I shouldn't be working as much so I can see it then. But I might try and catch it from the side to just see it so then I can get over to F! quickly. I am exceptionally good with weaving through the crowds.

As far as I know, it's based on the reservation time. I don't know if this is still accurate, but when I asked back in December (when the packages debuted), the CM said that meals before 4:00 pm were given FPs for the first show and meals after 4:00 pm were given FPs for the second show.

I made my Oasis pick up reservation for 6pm and this got me a 2nd showing FP. Thanks for the help!

For first PtN and DF I'd recommend Small World...that area doesn't fill up as quickly so you can get a better spot later. If you wanted to be sure to have a better chance at a better viewing spot within your yellow or blue FP from Aladdin's Oasis I would leave after the parade and take the Big Thunder trail around to the River. You can probably catch the fireworks from here because you'll have time while the parade goes down the rest of the route but I would get into position for the entry to your section while fireworks are going off so you have a chance to either be seated or against a railing so you can see
