2nd Child/Birth

Hey Princess_Aurora, sounds like our stories are very similar! Only I did have an epidural with both of them. With my first DD, I got to the hospital at 9 cm (I wasn't even sure I was in labor...we just decided to go to be on the safe side). I insisted on an epidural because I thought that the pushing part would be very painful. I can't believe they agreed to give it to me! It slowed down my contractions some.....she was born about two hours after we got to the hospital.

Second DD was induced about ten days early, and I got the epidural right after they started the pitocin. My doctor said I could get it immediately since I was worried that if I waited until I started with contractions that it would be too late. I started pitocin at 8:00am, she was born at 10:01 am!

And the other mothers who were there for hours hated me.
