Is this an adults only trip around the monorail????

Depends on if you want your child to hang out with a bunch of adults who are touring the different bars in the different resorts and drinking alcohol...

Sorry, didn't mean to cramp anyone's style. I just didn't know. I was surprised when the pool/bar meets included kids, but figured I would ask here.

My DD's favorite park is EPCOT....my guess is it's because mom and dad LOVE the margaritas!!!!!! ;)

This is the first one I'm attending- so I really don't have a say about whether or not kids go- for all I know it could have been a very reserved quiet crowd... but somehow I doubt that. :teeth:

I was just pointing out that the adults would all be out drinking and conversation may be adult in nature... I have no idea how old your kids are- my 14yo would have loved "bar hopping" lol but we decided not to pull her out of school for the trip- but my 8yo or 2yo would not have enjoyed it too much- they'd be bored and want to be elsewhere... My 18yo would have probably wanted to be elsewhere too but for different reasons- I could see him being embarrassed lol

No need for apologies :) I don't think anyone is worried about "cramping your style"... quite the contrary. I do have the pleasure of knowing 99% of the people attending this event and I can tell you that we are definitely not a reserved crowd. As Julie already mentioned, I think the primary concern is the use of adult language or adult topic conversation.

Adult language? lots of drinkin? I'm In, I'm In!!!! I am a Murphy after all!!!!! ;) :yay: :yay: :cool1:

I hope to be able to pop on up to the GF for a drink when you guys are there! We may be at the GFC that night, (daughters 5th birthday) and I have a 1yo. I just wasn't sure what kind of evening it was. (a drink and apps at each, or more adult kind of thing) Thanks for clarifying.

So, I may leave hubbie for awhile to "shop" with the kids! If I don't see you all, have a great time! AND, if any of you are staying at POP, there is a meet there that night too! :woohoo:

(oh and if any of you guys have kids, do you get to leave them somewhere, do you use a sitting service? I have my parents with us for the 1st half of our trip, but not the second half, which includes the 29th :( )

I strap them into a diorama in Small World and tell them to dance jerkily in place and sing until I come back for them.

J/k....I don't have any kids.

There are kids clubs available at a few of the Disney resorts, but the minimum age I believe is 3. I have also used Fairy Godmothers which provides in room sitting with no problems.

I certainly hope you can stop by, would love to meet you!

just found the disboards recently... is this an invitation only trip? I live about an hour and a half away and would LOVE to get out without my KIDS!!!
