2br DVC through RCI

How frequent are 2br DVC accommodations available through RCI? What are the points required?

The majority of DVC owners do not book through RCI so we wouldn't know.

The pattern of DVC deposits into RCI has changed. There used to be some 2 bedrooms available, more rare, but some. Then the deposit pattern changed (might have been February of this year) and no 2 bedrooms have been reported since then. I follow the Sightings board on TUG (Timeshare Users Group).

I've owned DVC for 22 years and I have only done ONE trade for another timeshare in all those years. And that was when we still had II. I was very happy with the offerings through Westin and Marriott. I know RCI has some nice properties but this member won't be depositing any DVC weeks. I'm only one member but there are lots of us that are very unhappy with the move from II to RCI as a trade option.

How frequent are 2br DVC accommodations available through RCI? What are the points required?

For RCI points for a 2 BR for SSR & OKW is 69.5K to 115.5K, BLT is 79K to 132K, AKV, BCV, BWV are 71K to 118.5K. Few 2 BR units lately, a boatload of SSR 1 BR and a few OKW villas. TPU' depend on the advance time. For the 1 BR they've been 26-42 lately, I'm not sure on the 2 BR's.

Although we are DVC and have never used the trade INTO RCI we are continually checking for trades INTO DVC through another timeshare we own while exchanging WITH RCI (weeks not points) We have NEVER seen 2 bedrooms offered just 1 bedrooms or studios. No complaints but if it ever should happen that would be great!

There has been very few deposits of 2 bedroom WDW DVC deposits into RCI for some time now. You will have better luck trading into a one bedroom. Tug2.net had a discussion on this topic recently.
