That's what I have saved in my Disney savings jar for our trip in 2006. I've only been saving since May 1st, so that's not too bad is it? I've been putting $20 a week in along with odd dollars and loose change. By time our trip rolls around, it will be loooooooooong paid for. Someone had a good idea by keeping up with what I have paid for. So right now, if the Play 4 Passes don't come out the year DH and I go, but I'm sure they will as they have 5 years straight, then I have one of our 4 day hopper passes paid for. On the Disney site they go for about $215 and that's after taxes. I would just do a "will pick up" to save a few dollars. On the other hand if the Play 4 passes do come out, then I've got BOTH of them paid for already!! WOW!! This is pretty exciting. I think when I reach the $400 mark, I'm going to put the money into the bank in a whole new account that I won't have easy access too. No checks, no debit card, or ATM card. If I want the money, then I have to physically go into the bank to get it. This money right now stands to be emergency money only until May of 2005 rolls around. That's when it will "officially" become my Disney savings. Right now, bills come first and if anything unexpected comes up, that's what the savings jar is for. I'M SO EXCITED THOUGH! I've been so disciplined saving this money and only digging into it two times since I've been saving. Each time though, I've put the money back plus a little extra.
