295 around Jacksonville

We will be heading to WDW in just over a week.. when taking the I95 do most people stay on 95 through Jacksonville or take the 295 bypass (I believe there is a east and a west) we would be passing through that area around 8-10 am on a Wednesday morning and just curious what people have done lately

That's the heart of rush hour in Jax...you'd probably do well to take that bypass. Traffic can get really ugly during morning rush. Not saying that the bypass will be guaranteed faster, but it's probably your best bet.

Ya I figured that would be a bad time but due to our time of departure (just east of Toronto) that’s about when we will arrive in that area.. however it does let us go through Charlotte in the middle of the night which is a plus

Your problem is still rush hour, though. The east 295 choice runs by JU, UNF, and several other large employers. The west 295 choice has the dreaded Buckman Bridge, where traffic can back up quite a bit as well. It'll be a roll of the dice on any given day which route is better. I might chance I-95; check a traffic app as you get closer to Duval County.
