Sorry I have to vent or I will burst!! We leave in 29 days to WDW and CBR! The best thing is my DS12 and DS15 have NO IDEA we are going!! I have been able to keep the secret so far. But, some family members (my SIL and a cousin) keep almost slipping up. They want to spoil my surprise so I just won't be seeing them until after we get back home!!
Wow!!! Almost there! (We're at 38!)
Just a thought -- a 15yo may have plans; teenagers like to think they have some control over their lives. So give some thought to letting him in on the "secret" a couple weeks ahead of time.
but I have been seting it up by telling him we have family plans that weekend, etc. Most of the time on Thanksgiving weekend, we are visiting with family and working around the house. We live in the country so DS15 doesn't make plans without me knowing because he needs transportation! My biggest concern is big school projects assigned over the weekend because they also have Mon and Tues (28 and29th) off for parent/teacher conferences. I am going to contact the teachers that week to check it out. My DS12 lucked out, his class had a field trip scheduled for Wed the 30th, the only day they are missing school. I have already planned with his teacher a way to make up for the missed activity. If I run into and walls, I will have to tell them both as they are best friends and tell each other mostly everything!
I'm at 28 days. I couldn't keep my secret. Had to tell my sister I needed the week off, I watch her kid's while she works. My sis and her kids all have big mouths. I would rather them hear it from me than her. I'm doing the dance but it's no secret.
We are at 35 days Our dd's (6&5) also have no idea. I am no good at keeping secrets and it is getting harder every day. I know I am going to tell them I just know it.
30 days for us!!! Our kids dont know either and its so hard on me. I want to celebrate and talk about what were doing, but I cant. We are leaving the morning of our DD's 7th Birthday. We are leaving really early in the morning so (video camera in hand) were going to wake her up and ask her if she would like to go to Disneyworld for her Birthday.

same here- we leave on dec 3rd and are busting at the seams we are so excited!
I don't know if I could keep it a secret. we upgraded my parents and aunt to first class using our miles (BIL and me) from work. They've never flown first. We wanted to wait and surprise them at the airport, but we just couldn't hold it in any longer!
