Guys, I'm so excited I cant sit still. I'm stalking the boards, watching videos, checking wait times lol.

I already got the luggage out the basement and cleaned it.

Got a few new clothes and bought some ponchos.

Anyone have a checklist they would like to share?

I of course have all our ADR and FPs....

We are driving from NJ and cant wait to leave July 31!

A big thing I started doing a week or two out (that you may already have covered): I go around the house locating absolutely everything on my packing list. Anything I don't need to use before the trip goes on a shelf in my closet. It saved me such a big headache when I realized a week in advance that I needed a new external battery, rather than finding it out the night before the trip when I actually packed my bag.

We are in the same boat!! We are driving from Iowa on July 26th. One thing we do is we start to look for deals on snacks and pop for the drive when we are at the grocery store. It doesn't save a ton of money or anything but it does make us feel like vacation is getting closer.

if you are driving you'll want comfort. blankets, pillows, snacks, water, external batteries/chargers, tablets, kindle, games, deck of cards.

some forgetful items:
-reusable water bottle
-misting fan
-wet wipes
-ziploc bags or grocery bags for wet clothes
-neosporin, baby powder

oh and magic bands :cutie:

Here is what Touring Plans recommends:

30-days out:
- Final payment is due for Disney vacation packages - Final payment for room-only reservations is due at check-in. Note: last chance to get deposit back is day 31.
- Off-site guests can make FastPass+ reservations
- Confirm park hours and finish preliminary touring plans
- Arrange to stop delivery of mail and newspapers
- Check that you have enough prescription medication
- Arrange for pet or house sitters

2-weeks out:
- Arrange grocery delivery to your resort
- Get your automatic Disney room request ready - Make sure your Disney hotel is added to your trip. Then, check out the room views with the Request Room button and select a room from our Room View tool. You can then use the Configure Fax button to add your name, reservation number and any special information to your request. We will send your fax automatically at 5 days out.

6-days out:
- Last chance to cancel Disney room-only reservations
- If booked online - tomorrow is last chance if booked via travel agent or phone. Call 407-W-DISNEY.
- Check the weather forecast for Orlando
- Start packing

4-days out:
- Purchase Disney’s Memory Maker photo package - Do this at least three days in advance to ensure that all photos are linked as soon as you arrive. You’ll also get a $30 discount by purchasing your package ahead of time.

1-day out:
- Check in to your airline online
- Finish Disney resort online check-in if you haven't already
- Cancel any unneeded dining or babysitting reservations
- Do one last check of park hours and weather

Don't forget sunscreen, extra socks, zip lock bags (quart and gallon size), small soft sided cooler. No loose ice is allowed in the parks, but you can put ice in zip lock bags and place in cooler. Any necessary medications, (a few band aids, they are available at first aid - but it can be a bit of a walk).

this is great! thank you!

We are taking our own car. It is an 18 hour drive. We are getting as far as Macon, GA the first day to get past Atlanta late at night so hopefully the ATL traffic won't be bad at that time. We are then driving the rest of the way the next day and staying offsite and checking into POP Century the next morning to start our Disney stay.

I'm in the same boat....less than 30 days to go and I've been doing the same. I think I am driving DH crazy! I just finished our plans spreadsheet and packing list. I love the post above from Touring Plans on what to do next. Happy Stalking Disboards! Ha ha!

cool. we plan on driving the whole 16 hours (no overnight stay) straight...leaving at rush hour (OMG) 5pm and arriving to All Star Sports around 9am. We have a FP for 11:45-12:45 for frozen ever after so i'm planning everything (i can, within reason) to a T lol of course i wont know when we are stopping for gas/bathrooms but it shouldnt take up too much time.

We are renting because I drive a honda civic and he drives a hyundai accent, smaller cars.

Have a great trip! I drive a Toyota Prius hybrid and starting with a full tank, the round trip cost us only $123 in gas last Summer. The tradeoff is that it is a bit cramped. Haha!

Join us over on the August post :) OFFICIAL AUGUST 2019 POST
You can get to know some of us that will be there the same time as you. My hubby and I arrive on the 3rd and leave on the 10th.

I've started putting things in my suitcase that I have bought specifically for the trip or as I think about them. Things like sunscreen and my shirts as I make them for myself. I also have been putting things in my backpack that I'll carry on the plane. This is the first time we have flown to Disney. We usually make the 10+ hour drive but since it's just hubby and myself this time it was worth us paying to fly. Especially sinceI do the majority of the drive. I'll take an hour and 50 minute flight over the drive any day.
