So some background:
So after a decade long argument with a close friend, I went to disneyland for the first time back in September. I was *not* raised on the movies in anyway, so I was extremely skeptical.
Well, needless to say (since I'm here), I had an AMAZING time. She was a pro, and managed to make it so great, even for a 27 year old dude who doesn't care (or know the first thing) about any of the Disney/Pixar stuff. I was impressed.

So much so, that I'm planning on going back for my birthday in January with 2-3 of my friends.

Since my expert may or may not be accompanying us, I figured this would be the place to go. Basically, I'm looking for tips/advice to get the most out of the trip. As I understand it, there's a lot of little tricks/hidden gems/things your average person wouldn't know about at this place. Like, when we went last time, we didn't eat at the park so I wanna do a fun dinner, but wouldn't even know where to start.

Notes about me, I guess, to give context:
I LOVED Space Mountain, The Matterhorn, and Indiana Jones. I wanted to do the roller coaster at California Adventure, but it was closed (as was the Haunted Mansion). We didn't have time for that Cars ride, or the Tower of Terror either.
I *hate* fireworks and anything resembling them, but I thought World of Color was so cool.

So yeah, that's it I suppose. Just looking for any suggestions on how to get the most out of this. I'm really excited (like, ridiculously so)
Thanks for any help! :D
