280K Fireworks

Is there anyone who can write out a guide on how to get 280K in fireworks...like a level by level guide?

I don't know if there's a secret just do your best to get flawless as much as you can. Then again I've never gotten above 235,000 so who knows?!?!?

Sorry, but the only real way is to practice. I have played about 300 games now, and am up to 272K.

there is a video (that I got a link to from someone here, don't remember who tho) where you can see someone playing fireworks and getting over 280K. they don't get flawless on every firework, and in some either get awesome or good in a few of those that shoot a bunch of the same fireworks at once. it helped me..then again, so did practicing and learning the patterns.

took me a little over 1000 hours to get the green car pin. most of that was spent playing fireworks over...and over...and over...and over....

Part of it, is your computer and the speed of your internet connection. You can practice to a point..and then be at a stand still due to either of those items lacking.

Yep I agree. I do real well getting flawless and then at the end of some of the rounds where there are a lot of fireworks, my computer can't handle it and it freezes a little and makes my mouse jumpy so I can never get those fireworks very well and I know that is where I lose my points.

Just curious those of you that can score 280,000 what type of speed is your computer and internet connection?

Any advice on what to do to an existing computer to make it as efficient as possible.

Yes, I have the same problem. I can see the fireworks go up...and can get my selection on to the correct firework, but it's jumpy and no matter how fast "I" move...the computer is already done with it and I loose the point. It is at the exact same spots as you - when there are a lot all at once. When I used to play on our really slow computer I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get to the second level. I was SO frusterated..then I tried our faster computer and got 240K almost immediately. At my best game...I can get somewhere around 260K but that is if I'm really super lucky and it's a good batch of fireworks that don't over-lap each other, etc.

My computer is so not the problem, that's what is most disappointing. I finally bought a new one last year with me and my husbands tax return and it is an HP media center 2 GB Ram Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz processor Windows XP 225 GB hard drive and a Cable Internet connection.

I have never had a problem with it freezing up unless I have a background window selected or something and forget to go back in time and then I can't switch between fireworks, LOL.

I just haven't played enough yet so I'm pretty okay at it. I can almost always get over 200,000. Of course the way it is now if there are really good players with me I can also get knocked out early very easily too.

Well Fireworks will never be an issue since my computer can not play the mini-game due to the fact it's a mac. I go to my friends house and score 270K so i no its not me who has the problem

The solution for that is to click as soon as you bring the window back to the foreground. Then you will be able to switch between fireworks.

The same problem happens with Ned, you can't move the boat unless you take a picture first.

It's not the Mac either - I'm on a Mac and I can play the minigames within VMK just fine (can't play Everest though- it's a PC only download - I have a friend collect codes for me!)

My connection is basic DSL and I can never score as high at home as I can on my brother's Mac - but he has a superfast DSL. On my computer the mouse is jumpy, but his is superfast.

What browser are you using? I am on Safari, OSX

she never beet 235,000 i never got past level one yes it is sad lol
