$28.60 taxi from ASMo to MK???

I used a taxi fare calculator online....does this sound about right?

I would have thought it would have been less that that?

I've never taken a cab in WDW but that sounds a little high. Taxi's should also be dropping off at TTC, since there are no MK taxi stands.

TTC to CCC is only a 1 1/2 miles apart, so $32 is ridiculous.

Use the mears taxi fare calculator. It shows ASMo to MK as $20. That's about right.

Taxis within WDW are always more than I expect. So I figure $20 anywhere onsite, if it's less, then I'm pleasantly surprised!

I work for a taxi company and we also have a fare finder. It uses Google maps to figure mileage.

The problem you would have at WDW is many of the roads that a taxi can take Google may consider limited access roads and take the most round about odd way to avoid those roads.

We take cabs in Disney from time to time and the MK is usually a spot we like to use one so we can avoid the TTC (we just don't like it). We will always cab to the Contemporary (BLT parking lot) and then just walk over. We took a cab from the Boardwalk to BLT in November it was about $19.
