So my husband and my family are heading to WDW for our April vacation. We are staying at BWV's, and we are EXCITED. We will be there for 7 nights, and I have already made 6 ADR's, about five months ago! lol Now I am starting to doubt one or two of them....

They are all dinners and they are:

'Ohana
Chef Mickeys(for the kids...ulch)
Les Chefs
Tutto Italia
Raglan Road
Mama Mia

I already am regretting Chef Mickeys..but we kind of 'have to' per mom! lol Even at 35 years old, I still listen to mom.

The other one I am still doubting is Raglan Road....I feel like I want to switch it, but for where? I only want to use 1ts credit.....what to do??!!:confused3

Raglan Road is great. Entertainment nightly except Sunday. Regarding ADR's, treat each new restaurant as part of the WDW adventure. We always psick a few of our favorite restaurants, but then continue to eat around the world.

I would doubt chefs de France which has gone downhill in recent years and Mama Melroses, which is mediocre

If it helps, we had a wonderful experience at Chef Mickey's last July (if you're interested, follow the link in my signature to a review). We were more than pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. We alse love Les Chefs, but didn't have a great experience at Raglan Road. Personally, I wouldn't go to DTD at all on a trip shorter than 10 days, unless I had my own car, because of the HORRENDOUS transportation to and from there. And we didn't think RR was that great that we would choose to go out of our way for it.

Remember, everyone has a unique experience at each place, and we all have different tastes. Go for what appeals to YOU most, and don't be afraid to try anything once!

Enjoy!

Tutto Italia and Les Chefs de France are great choices. Raglan Road is not a personal favorite here. We have dined twice at Raglan Road and it just didn't compare to some of the other restaurants. And Ohana is fun, but the food is mediocre.

I would not do Chefs for dinner, the food has become mediocre at dinner but lunch is fine. We find the food at Ohana to be below chain restaurant quality. I would also doubt Mama Melrose unless you are doing it just for the Fantasmic package.

We have had good experiences at Raglan Road and Tutto. We have not dined at Chef Mickeys as we have zero desire. If you are looking for another at Epcot, we have enjoyed Via Napoli.

Well let me just tell you that you will love O'hana :) I went there for dinner my last trip and it was the family favorite!

:goodvibesWe did Ragland Road for lunch last year and did not enjoy it at all. We much preferred our meal at Wolfgang Pucks Cafe.

I 2nd guess my dining reservations every trip. There are so many choices. It's tough to decide. You are going to have a wonderful time no matter what. Enjoy your vacation. :)

We love Raglan Road and Chef's de France. They are a must every time we go to Disney!

If you'd never been to some of these places, may I suggest you go and try them? For example, I personally don't like Chef's de France, but you may find it to be an excellent meal. I always read the boards but I like to make up my own opinion.

The only thing I would possibly change - Tutto and Mama Mia will both be the same type of food. So maybe you want to switch one of those out to try something different.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You everyone. I would LOVE to do Boma, but I know my family and NOT ONE of them is adventurous like me. I would have to listen to the whining the whole time, and then the angry glares! lol

I want to try Mexico, but again my family is nixing it. I have to try and stay with standard faire, I guess. It's kind of depressing. lol But how depressing can life be in WDW!

I know not everyone likes it, but I've never had a problem at Mama Melrose. I also LOVE 'Ohana. I think I might throw a Kona in there instead of Raglan Road, or maybe have Kona for the extra day.

hmmmm..now I'm super excited!!!

I had too much fun this trip for online dining reservations! Play with that and see what is available.

We are trying Tepan Edo for the first time. We keep hearing good things and we are trying Captain's Grille for the first time also.

Ohana is a favorite of our family, we love to see Poly and we also enjoy the food.

Chef Mickey's we do not care for except for breakfast, we felt dinner did not have a good selection of meats for us, but if you have not been before for dinner, I think you should go at least one time.

I really wanted the new Mexico restaurant also but my DH and DD are picky eaters so that is a no - no! for us.

We have never been to Raglan Road, DH hates the menu choices. I made him try Boma a few years ago and I still haven't heard the end of it!!! So I will not force Raglan Road or Mexico La Hacienda.

Want to try Via Napole but alas ran out of dining points for this trip so I had to choose!!

This trip we are doing:

Garden View Tea Room, Love this experience not on dining plan
Ohana
Captain's Grille - breakfast - paying off dining plan because it is not a buffet.
Teppan Edo - Lunch
Le Cellier Lunch - DH loves this place, have to make a ressie everytime we go
The Crystal Palace - Dinner
Captain's Grille - Dinner
Kouzzina - Breakfast - paying off dining plan because it is not a buffet.

I hope you have fun, please play with the online dining reservations, I had so much fun and changed several reservations!!

I would not play with Chef Mickey's or your Ohana ressie, those are booked up!!

:goodvibes
