No, when you are seated you are given a menu, they don't know you are on the DDP or even if you got the DDP free. We went last Sept. it was easy and great. You have to tell the CM you are on the plan and then they tell you the you get 1App, 1 Ent, ! des. And that is sooooo much food.
The reason so may people have snack credits left is cause they are so full from the TS and CS to even think about the snack.
Believe me the plan is easy and great

You have to ask for the DDP menu? I thought there was only one menu. I'm confused...

I have NEVER heard of that before. There were many times we sat down at a table, and weren't even asked if we were on the dining plan until we were ready to order and had the menu for a few minutes. That's why you read on here that those that don't use the DP are unhappy because they feel the menus have changed, and not for the better. As for us, we were very happy with all of our meals.

It was the very rare occasion that we were told something wasn't included in the plan.

I attached the menus from Deb Allears web page. The menus are almost exactly the same as the menus you get when seated even down to the prices listed. I actually new months in advance last year what is was going to order, I really would have not even need the menue.
The DDP is not complicated. And you get a ton of food.
Doin it again in Sept. and my mouth waters every time I look at the menus. I even printed the menus out for the ADRs we have this year. Every month or so Debs updates but there is not much change.
Can't wait to go
