Friends of ours celebrated their 25th last year. A group of us got a gift card for the Fairmount Royal York Hotel.

I bought some friends a Lennox picture frame that held two 5x7 pics. One for their wedding photo and one for a pic taken at their 25th party. They told me they loved it. or a gc for the Keg. That is always a welcome gift

Well, I went out this afternoon to see what 'inspired' me!
A simple Silver frame (Birks) $150 I mean PLAIN! It went up from there! Then I thought a bottle of Champagne..and a lovely Silver coaster made to hold the bottle..that was $175. Soo...I came home with nada. A GC is sounding a fine idea!!

If they have a charity that is near to their hearts make a donation in their name. Other than that I think a GC for dinner someplace would be nice. How about a little surprise gathering with some friends???

Well, their son is throwing a huge surprise (she is married to an Italian lol) party tonite for them that they haven't a clue about sooo that's been done! I am thinking a gift certificate and a bottle of Champagne is the way to go and as you can see, I am running out of time!

My husband took me to WDW for our 25th anniversary!!

The last 25th anniversary party I went to I gave a silver polishing cloth and silver cleaner (for all the silver everyone else got them) and a gift certificate to the LCBO.

Mine too! And it happened to be the Millenium. Being married on Dec 24th it was perfect ...he booked the GF 10 years prior, imagine.

Mind you, I still got silver too..ick

Well to bad it's today. A few years our friends planned their own 25th party....it actually was a formal wedding with reception because they didn't have one originally.....their kids secretly contacted all the guests and asked for donations that could be put toward one really nice gift for them. They were hoping just to get enough money to send them away for a weekend, maybe to Muskoka. They ended up with enough to send them to an island to an all inclusive.

Anyway...have fun tonight and happy anniversary to your friends.

Thanks for all the help! I bought a GC and a bottle as well as a pretty bunch of Hydreangas...it is what is is now!
