25th Anniversary Trip!!!

Oh my gosh I just cannot wait till we go to "see the Mouse" in late August. Our anniversary is actually on September 3rd and we are treating ourselves to 8 whole nights at WL!!

We've been a few times with the kids, with my mother, and once by ourselves for our 15th and it just felt like the right place to come again for such a special event.

I've been reading through tons of posts on restaurants that we may not have tried before and doing ADRs for special places to go. Your input please! The one hard and fast, no bones about it ressie was The California Grill for the night of the anniversary. We have a 9:15 seating so we will be there for the fireworks over the Kingdom. Hopefully we can get window seats. These folks were wonderful to us for our 15th and we wanted to go back.

We also have b'fast one day at 1900, dinners at Artist Pointe, Yachtsmen, L1 seating for a Luau, Liberty Tree (haven't found anything better at MK). Thoughts? I am not a seafoodie so Narcoosee's didn't make it unless there is something I can eat there while he does seafood? Also considered Jiko. Worth it or not?

Any other special things you'd suggest? No matter how many times you go there is always something new! TIA!

Happy 25th anniversary! We are celebrating our 25th with the Mouse too (our actual anniversary was this past Wednesday--May 21, but we are going September 1 - 9). Sounds like you have some great adr's.

congrats on your 25th....

we are leaving in 13 days for our 25th(june 18) and staying at WL also. we always wanted to try it and hope for a memorable experience. we are dining at Artist Point for the night our our 25th. I(DH) did all the planning for this trip and hope for the best. hopefully i didnt overplan.....


25th is a special milestone for all of us that make it that far!!!!!!!!

Congrats on 25 and your trip to celebrate it! We've celebrated several anniversaries there and are going back for our 28th in Sept. Since you're staying at WL and dining at CG I wanted to mention that one of our favorite romantic things to do is take the full loop on the small launch that circles between CR/WL/FortW. For instance, when you're done dining at CG, take the launch going to FortW first, instead of the one going straight to WL. If you like boat rides, this can be a serene moonlit trip. Smooching opportunities may vary.

eta: Not sure the launch will still be running after a late seating at CG, but if not try the loop another night.

We also celebrated our 25th at WDW. That was ten years ago! And we'll be back this September to celebrate 35! I should add that my DH is not a Disney nut by any means. He just goes along with this because he knows I love it and he loves me! Isn't that great? We're going to Fort Myers Beach afterwards because that is what he loves.

Carol my DH was the one leaning towards it more than a cruise even! lol He is kind of a ho-hum guy but he gets down there and it is like the clock just turns him backwards. It is absolutely precious, I love seeing him like that, and it is just an absolutely magical place!

We'll be celebrating our 25th this summer trip too mmmm...I'm going to buy something REALLY special to commemorate the occasion...can't wait to do some serious Disney shopping

dz my special something I got at Disney when we did our 15th is one of those gorgeous glass Beauty and the Beast roses. It is so lovely. We have it in the china closet with the note from the staff at CBR wishing us a happy anniversary. I'll be looking for something special again this time for sure!
