Yes, the selling price is $32.99 because each MagicBand contains a relic from a DVC resort. Relics may include, but are not limited to, a chip of paint, splinter of wood from a cabinet or piece of furniture, or thread from bedding or window treatments

I think I'll wait for them to put these on sale when no one buys them at the original selling price. I already have two Purple ones since I got the purple HM one and the custom Stitch in Purple.

I wish they'd add a few more colors now that it's been almost 2 years, or make a few colors available to DVC and/or passholders only (purple, brown, black, white, etc.). I'd love purple, but (along with many other DVC members) I have numerous of these bands already and don't see the need to drop a bunch of cash on one.

Almost the same price as other exclusive magic bands. We paid $29.99 each for the past two years to purchase Halloween party exclusive magic bands.

I am not interested in purchasing any of these DVC magic bands, but the price is in line with other special magic bands.

Also to note...the magic bands are not available until April...the Flash sale that begins February 1st involves a 25th anniversary T-shirt.

The B Bands (Limited Edition that produce sounds and emit unique light patterns at checkpoints) which is what this DVC band is, are collected by many. Many (not all) command over double their original price on the secondary market, specifically the ones that are only available onsite or in conjunction with certain events and can't be purchased online by the general public. I actually had one person offer me $100 for the 2014 MNSSHP band (the first LE band) I was wearing while at MK. He even knew it could not be linked to his profile since it had already been linked to mine. I politely declined.

The current MagicBand retail prices are:

• Solid color: $12.99
• Graphic (open edition): $22.99
• Limited Release: $27.99
• Limited Edition (MVMCP, MNSSHP, etc.): $32.99

For the Limited Release, they can have more made if sales warrant.
For the Limited Edition, they will only produce a set number.

Can't we already get a chip of paint ,splinter of wood, threads or other things from DVC rooms now without paying for it!
Some of the pictures I've seen lately we can also get some cracked tiles or some mold for free.

we currently have 50 magic bands in our house. Split stays have really upped that total quickly. Almost bought a star wars band when I was there and thought, "*** am I doing!" and quickly exited the Star Wars launch bay. Like Bill said.....we get these free. If I want a new design, I'll order a skin.

That's a stitch. I have SOOOO many other things to spend my money on. My car is 11 years old and my DS doesn't even have a car bcuz I can't afford the extra insurance (OR another car pymt). OH and he's a freshman in college (private / out of state) so there's THAT to pay for. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to get him home for spring break after just having to cough up an extra $169 last week to switch his flight back to Rochester to beat the blizzard. My front door frame is rotting and we're patching it up with some bondo rather than replacing it until DS gets thru the next 3 years of college. Anybody in their right mind would probably be selling their DVC to PAY for college… When Disney sends out FREE generic vanilla bands I would have to absolutely be out of my gourd to BUY one. Especially for $33 each. Kudos to those who have nothing better to do with their money tho.
