24h day strategy: Uber to MK

So DD and I have just decided that we want to take on the 24h challenge next year. We plan to stay in the park the entire time.

Though I'm now hooked on staying on property, since this will truly be a sleep-only stay, I know I can get the nights of site for the price of one night in an All Star.

I'm very worried about driving into a tree on the way back to the hotel afterward though. We thought getting an Uber might be a good solution.

Has anyone done this? Is there a way to get "dropped off" at MK without paying you get into the lot? Or would I need to be dropped at DTD and bus in? Can I get dropped at Contemporary and take the monorail in?

Any other ideas?

You can get dropped off at the Contemporary, but walk over to MK instead of using the resort monorail. Walking takes about 5 minutes. The monorail will take considerably longer since it stops at the TTC, Poly and GF before getting you to the MK.

ETA- There are no buses from DTD to MK (or any of the theme parks).

Right, I meant DTD to Resort X to MK.

Actually you can get dropped off at any of the parks without paying a parking fee. The drop off for MK is at the TTC.

Get dropped off at the Contemporary and walk. Or get dropped off at any of the monorail resorts!

Quickest way is as I mentioned earlier- get dropped at the Contemporary and walk to the MK gates. Going to any of the other monorail resorts will require either a monorail or boat ride to get to MK.

There isn't a boat from OKW to MK. The only boat available at OKW goes (only) to/from Disney Springs (aka Downtown Disney).
