We missed the $158 special from Delta from Nashville to Orlando
but today Huntsville AL has flights r/t for $249. What do you experts think?
Take it or wait?. (SWA has been about $300 r/t) June 2-10

I don't know if that's a good price or not, but if you're ok with it, book it. I really just wanted to say that your son is ADORABLE! He's going to be a catch when he grows up!

Thanks for the compliment. :cloud9:

We live in Nashville too and I missed booking a really good fare on another airline (flying into SFB). We're going down the same time you are. I've been watching the airfares like a hawk, but I don't think 249 is that great. We are seriously considering driving now, but we will have a 1 year old and don't know how she'll manage. We've done it before, without the baby, and it was okay (we drove straight through). I think if we do drive this time we will stop overnite. What are your plans?
I agree w/ PP-your son is a doll.

Thanks for the responses. We have driven before in fact we haven't flown to Orlando since 99 we've driven the past 4 or 5 years. But this time we are doing cruise/land deal and I hate to drive to the port and pay to leave the truck plus we usually don't stay a full week so driving isn't an issue, but by doing the land/sea deal with 11-12 hours driving it would mean more vacation days used.

Also, the flight times from Huntsville are terrible, in my opinion that is. I would just wait and watch the SW fares from Nashville. More flight times to choose from, and I've always been able to get a fare of less than $200 RT with SW to MCO from Nashville. With Dings! I've gotten as little as 95 RT.

The $249 out of Huntsville is about their average fare, so it is not a deal.

Also, that $249 is before taxes, with taxes it's $268. Just looked at SW, and if you could go Fri and Sunday, instead of Sat - Sat, SW is only 283 inclusive. That's only $15 per ticket difference.
