Any experience or predictions? I'm guessing that MK will be near empty at 6am Friday May 23 then near empty until 8am. To be there at 6am means giving up arriving to MK for rope drop earlier in the week.

I have been at mk at 6:30 for 7:00 a.m opening. I was surprised at the people who were there as well but it wasn't near as bad as a 9:00 opening. I would totally do a :600 opening. Just assume you won't be alone but it will be way less crowded.

Not my prediction but Josh always has great advice for the parks.

"Expect relatively light crowds from 6am on May 23rd through about 8pm on May 24th. The novelty to these 24-hour days is the late night when Magic Kingdom is never otherwise open past 3am. You’ll be able to get a ton done from 6am – 12pm. With Memorial Day Weekend crowds, the afternoon is going to be busy, but not unmanageable. Crowds will begin streaming in after 6pm and Magic Kingdom’s parking lot should close to capacity around 10pm with guests sent to the Epcot parking lot to monorail in. The late night has a unique, fun vibe, but it’s going to be extremely busy from 7pm – 3am in particular."

If I go to MK, I'd be out of there by 1pm to go deal with the Star Wars Crowd at Hollywood Studios!
