My WP suggested Ana. I am unsure what to do since I won't have a chance for a trial. It's nice to hear real feedback though. Janet said something about how the Florida humidity is hard on hair...but I asked for it curly and my hair is naturally curly so the humidity shouldn't have affected it too much.

I always thought I would go with Patricia LeJuene but I booked Ana because I didn't want to spend $100 to have e-pic make-up and we weren't sure about a Disney wedding back then. I really did love her and DF loved how my make-up turned out too. I didn't bring any pictures, just told her that I wanted a pretty natural look but not too natural and I tend to wear gold tones. She said, okay so like a J-Lo kind of look, natural but glowy and I said exactly. I also got fake lashes which was a must for me since mine are so short. Here is the result, I love this pic so I post it whenever I possibly can :

I didn't have her do my hair for the e-pics. I'm still hoping I can get my mom's awesome step-cousin to come and do it for the wedding, but if not I'll go to him for a trial and we can take pics and he can show me how to do it so I can tell Ana. I like the hairstyle you chose and I'm sure they can work in the hairpiece, and your earrings would definitely show since it's pulled back a little.

Lol, well I can understand how it would be hard on hair, but she is the professional and works there, so that's why you would hire her, because she should know how to make it work. Not really a good sign that she was making excuses.

I think with Ana or Patricia you're in good hands, I haven't heard a bad review for either of them.

i am sorry your hair trial did not stay. i also have very curly hair that i blow straight. i used patricia for my hair trial and she is AWESOME! i was there at the end of june with rain and humidity, i even went on the safari and to a dp that night. my hair and makeup stayed the entire day. the only thing i had to re-apply was my lipstick but lipstick never stays on me. i blew my hair straight the day before and then patricia curled it up. i have pics on pj if you want to see. i would DEF recommend her. even with the $50 travel fee it is so worth it. here in NY it would cost me any where between 200-300 dollars just for my hair and another $200-300 for my makeup where in Florida it is $120 for hair and makeup. the $50 travel fee is for both the trial and wedding day, so to me it was worth it. i am a very natural person and don't wear or need to wear a lot of makeup and she did my make up so naturally, it still looked like me! good luck with who you end up going with!

Love the new possible hairstyle! If I wasn't planning to wear my down, I think I'd go with something like this. I like that you can still see the texture in the hair.

I am sorry your trial didn't go well, though. Always disappointing, especially when professional photos are involved. But, better now than March, right?

Sorry your hair trial didn't go very well. I had Ana from Beaute Speciale and didn't have a trial. I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I asked her to do. My hair looked just like the picture. She is really good. She was also a lot of fun that morning and calmed me down.

Jack and I went and checked out Tamu Tamu on Friday night as we were in AK and as we walked past I remembered about you having your reception there. It was around sunset time and looked pretty neat. I bet in the dark with the lights on it'll be lovely.
