It is still a little cool in the mornings. Woke up this morning to mid 50's. But it is headed to the 80's this week.

We're heading down too and are packing a variety. Shorts, capris, jeans. Light rain jacket and sweatshirt to tanks. We'll layer up each day for those chilly mornings. Definitely takes more space but worth it to be prepared. We might be the only ones in shorts, but it did snow here last night, so anything is warmer to us

It should be warm this week, but bring a sweater for the mornings and evenings. However- next week could be different. This time of year is tricky . Within another month it will be mostly warm with less variance.

I'd say this depends a LOT on your temperature norms.

I've seen people from cooler climates wearing shorts and tank tops (or walking around the water parks in swim suits) on the same days as other people from warmer climates were wearing winter coats, hats and mitts.

We have shorts on today in N GA. Just depends on where you are from and how the temps happen to turn that week. I would say yes it will be warm enough but cooler in the mornings and evenings.

We were there Feb. 13-21st and we wore shorts at some point during the day everyday but two. On a couple of days my boys wore pants and changed into shorts by lunch time. On the 20th, we wore pants all day long as well as sweatshirts for most of the day. We did see people in shorts everyday but the 20th. Hope this helps.

We are travelling down next week, and I wondered if anyone knows if it's shorts weather, yet? I'm not sure how to pack for the kids.

We were there a few weeks ago and were in shorts all but one of the days. Although we are from New England where it is in the 30's this time of year, so anything about 65 degrees is considered shorts weather to us! We did have sweatshirts and pants though, just in case . . .

We leave on the 14th and we too have been looking at the extended forecasts..... It looks like highs may be mid 70's to 80 degrees with lows in the fifties to low sixties. There may be showers on a few days. My DH is bringing shorts, 2 pairs of jeans, short sleeved shirts and one sweatshirt. DD and I are brining all short sleeved shirts or tanks, shorts, capris and jackets.

We just returned from our trip and we wore shorts and tees everyday but wore hoodies/light jackets in the mornings. It warms up quickly!
