Had a quick look at the 'who is going when' sticky and I think it might be JohnnySharp going first?

Can't wait to hear what it's all about.

The new extended hours....

What the new parade will be like (praying they make stops like the OUAD parade did), where best to stop for character interaction etc :goodvibes

And of course to learn more about the fabulous 'Dreams' show :cool1:

Very excited and happy to be going a little later on so that hopefully people will be willing to share their tips on best places to be etc for the shows/magic :love:.

Can't wait :banana::banana:

I maybe going beginning of April, just waiting to see what is happening at my dad's work to see when they are closing the building. I can't wait to see the 20th anniversary celebrations:goodvibes

Ooh Nikki - that sounds great! It will be lovely in some ways to be one of the first to sample the new theme/celebrations as there won't have been much 'leaked' by that point :goodvibes

Happy planning :wizard:

I'm good at not reading much about the new stuff if I know i'm visiting soon as I like it to be a surprise:thumbsup2

I'm really looking forward to hearing all about it too. :goodvibes

I don't blame you. I won't be watching any videos or peeking at youtube until after our summer trip but I can't wait to hear what people think on their return so I'll be looking forward to hearing what you say. ::yes::

Well, I watched the preview doing the rounds on youtube (posted on here by someone) - couldn't help myself :rotfl:.

I was almost in tears so goodness knows what I will be like when there. When we went in 2009, we saw the last night of the Enchanted Fireworks and while we didn't have a good spot (we had arrived not long before and baggage was delayed etc), I still cried :rolleyes:. Disney just know how to do fireworks/music sequencing :thumbsup2

I showed my Mum the Dreams preview too and she said she'd like to go with us later in the year (Christmas season) - that convinced her :rotfl:!

I couldn't wait until our August trip so have booked from Good Friday until Easter Monday (06/04 to 09/04)

The Disneyana Fan Club (Formerly National Fantasy Fan Club) will be having a group of 50 people for events for the Anniversary. We are staying at various hotels across property (I will be at DLH). We already have certain events planned, with more being developed.

On Tuesday most people will be arriving and we will have an evening meet and greet.

On Wednesday we will be having a morning meeting at the Founders Club, with the Disneyland Paris Ambassador and others. (At a similar event a few years ago for the Tokyo 25th, we had the CEO of Oriental Land Company as our primary speaker.) Anmd we will be having a private lunch at Inventions.

On the Anniversary itself we will have reserved seating for the ceremony, lunch at Walts, and reserved seating for the afternoon parade.

On Friday we will have breakfast in front of the Phantom Manor with villains, and in the evening we will be at Buffalo Bills.

There is more that will be happening.

For information about the club (which has chapters in the US, Canada, Japan and Australia), go to www.disneyanafanclub.org

That sounds great Simon :thumbsup2 Where are you staying? I'll have to wait until our June trip as we definitely can't get as a family any earlier.

Looking forward to all the early reports back :thumbsup2

our christmas trip was cancelled when my dd1 broke her foot but we are now planning on an easter trip, no ticker yet as we dont know what day we are leaving but could be anything from the 1st! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

i cant wait lol

Me and the family will be arriving in Paris late afternoon on 2nd April. Being DLRP newbies we booked the trip some time ago and had no idea that the park was approaching its 20th birthday.

It was totally unplanned that it happened this way but our trip is now scheduled for evening of 30th March to afternoon of 3rd April so we will be in the park watching Dreams on 1st April!!! I'm wondering if it's going to be totally packed that day though...

Wow there are lots of you going around the start date :cool1: Lucky people. Just make sure you all report back and give your top tips to make the most of it all :thumbsup2;)

Does anyone have any idea when the closures/ refurbishments list for April is likely to come out?

And do people think there are more likely to be less closures as it's the start of the 20th anniversary, or more in preparation for the busier summer months?

I just discovered we'll be there on 1st april too.........

Totally unplanned!

what a fab intro for my Mum into The Magic!!!!

SO EXCITED :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Hoping to book for the 3rd April, just need to wait to see if my cousin & our friends can get the time off work:goodvibes

We've just booked a trip leaving on the first so should at least get the morning in! Hoping for a few soft openings beforehand too... :goodvibes
