20th Anniversary Trip

My wife and I have been celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary all year but we have planned a trip as close to the actual date as possible (August 31). We will be at WDW from August 5th to the 13th. We will be traveling with our 16 year son, but we plan on going to a special dinner with the two of us while my son explores on his own for the first time. I wanted to plan something small each day and a nice dinner one night with just the two of us.

Can anyone give me some tips on some special things we can do? Trying to plan something without my wife knowing it almost impossible. I know some people have stories of some disney magic and although nothing like that has ever happened to us in out previous 10 visits I thought I would create my own "Magic".

Since you've been so many times, it's hard to come up with some stuff but maybe a carriage ride if you've never done them before. I don't know if you have a special gift for her or not but a friend of mine got engaged at the Crystal Palace. He arranged for Eore to deliver the ring to their table as he proposed. Maybe something like a special present delivered by a special character? I'm sure guest services can help you set that up.

We were at Boatwright's for our 20th anniversary and the server brought us glasses of champagne and a special dessert.

You could also order a special cake to be delivered during your anniversary meal.

Sounds like a super trip!
