Hi Everyone,
It’s been quite some time since I posted in these forums.

My husband and I are celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary by doing a resort only trip over our anniversary.
After this past year, well...let’s just say we are going down there on a very tight budget.
I was hoping to get some suggestions from others on the best things to do on a dime.
Thanks

go on the Disney skyline. Nice ride and it’s free. Just don’t go when parks open or getting ready to close. Go on the whole ride check out the different resorts where the skyline goes.

Ride the monorail and grab a dole whip at the Polynesian. Take a boat ride from the wilderness lodge to MK and back. Go to Ft wilderness and see the new horse stables (you have to park at the front and ride the internal bus to get there). I second the sky liner ride and exploring the resorts along the way. You can tour the DVC rooms at each resort too right now, I’m not sure how long they will keep doing that, including Poly bungalow and CC cabin. Have a great trip and Happy Anniversary!

The McDonald's on property has a very cool outside seating area. And, it's got a serious green-thing going. It's a whole vibe there. Check it out, maybe. McDonald's is at least as good as half the restaurants in WDW.

If you have a car go check out Celebration, walk it and see the sights. Maybe you'll run into Adam the Woo.

Window shopping at Pleasure Island (if you've been married for 20 years you know what I'm talking about).

Two words: modes of transportation (or three words). Skyliner, monorails, boats, try'em all. And definitely take a walking tour of Art of Animation.

With the Grand Floridian bridge done now, you could just walk from the Poly to the Contemporary, and stop at any of the places to eat (from quick service to sit down) and have a great time. I would be happy just hanging out at Poly eating a dole whip.
