I have a 2021 Hyundai Palisade (Calligraphy AWD) and my parents bought a 2021 Hyundai Sante Fe a couple of months after me. There was a cosmetic redesign of the Pali in 2023, but he current offering is largely the same vehicle as my 2021. The same cannot be said of the Santa Fe. I have no idea if the redesign has made it a higher demand vehicle, but it seems the dealerships are more likely to stock more Santa Fes since they're a little bit cheaper and smaller. That being said, the prices on the two are becoming much closer these days and the Land Rover looking redesign could make it a harder negotiation for the SF.
The Santa Fe was not high demand when my parents got theirs, so they had a number of dealer markdowns and room for negotiations. I got my Pali at a peak demand time when you were just lucky to get one on the lot. There was absolutely zero room for negotiation. The pricing for the Pali was Hyundai's MSRP, which was on the sticker, but due to the demand...most dealers were tacking on dealer fees during financing. So, it wasn't something I saw until I was in with the finance manager. Due to the high demand at the time, many dealers refused to budge on the dealer markup during financing. Of course, there were some other dealers that weren't doing this at all and just selling for MSRP on the sticker. It could be worth joining Facebook groups for each vehicle to see what people have been experiencing with sales of late. They might even be able to help point you to dealers in your area that aren't messing around with pricing.
I will say that my Pali is an excellent road trip vehicle. The side by side comparisons I've seen on the 2024s would still have me picking the Pali. Mine was damaged by a tree last month and I'm anxiously awaiting its return from the collision center.
