I’m currently on a search for next year’s calendar. Yes, I’m old school enough that I still like to have a physical calendar hanging near my desk so I can see dates at a glance. I used to buy a bantam chicken calendar every year and then it was fancy pigeons, but it’s been years since I picked a silly looking birds one. Last year I almost bought “Hot Firefighters and Puppies” but my husband didn’t find it as funny as I did , so I ended up with animal selfies. So far, I’ve narrowed the 2024 choices down to lizards, trees, and Thomas Kinkade Disney scenes, but the options seem to be near limitless. Chipmunks, anyone? Bird lovers, gangster cats…. Outhouses.

Do you still buy a calendar, and what theme do you pick? Is it always the same or do you switch it up.?

I haven't bought a physical calendar in years - no particular reason except that I haven't felt the need for one. However I do plan on getting one for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since that's the puppy I'm getting next year! Picking her up in March~

I get the Michigan Lighthouse one every year. Not sure who puts it out but it has large spaces to write on and of course beautiful pictures of lighthouses. :)

I like a physical calendar to see a months (& years) worth of appointments on paper. I don't hang it up to look at pictures, just keep it by my desk.I get several freebies to choose from every year. For 2024 I am using one from the International Rescue Committee

When we had kids at home it was Mom's Family Wall Calendar by Boynton, it went by school year which was helpful.

I buy 3 calendars every year:

One for my office, for the last several years it's been a large "Shenandoah National Park" wall calendar.

One for my kitchen, usually a Kay Dee linen calendar towel. I'm partial to cardinals and dogwoods.

I need to get one more, a mini wall calendar for the bathroom DH and I share. It's good to know what day it is when you wake up. Sometimes it's national parks, sometimes, vintage travel, sometimes Hawaii, whatever cool thing I can turn up.

I have the Disney Thomas Kinkade one in my office for 2023, and I've enjoyed it. I will probably get the 2024 version as well.

I have at least two physical calendars in the house. One next to my desk and one in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen isn't used too much, I use the white board more, but the one next to my desk has all of my personal stuff on it. It's motivation for next week LOL

One for my office
One for my purse - pocket calendar
One for my house in the kitchen
One for my bedroom - bears from Katmai Alaska
With the exception of the office (big wall one ) and bedroom all are DISNEY ❤️

I buy 3 of the easel type calendars from Dollar Tree every year. One on my desk at home, the other 2 for work (one by the phone & one by the computer), those 2 are used a lot. Then we have the big desk pad calendar at work that I usually hang on the wall facing the desk. Rarely buy picture calendars any more.

Do you still buy a calendar
We haven't needed to buy a calendar for YEARS..... We get so many from National Parks, State Parks, Sierra Club, and a myriad of other non-profits that we contribute to that we have at least 7 or 8 every year.

Although my sister buys me a special calendar for Christmas every year. She's been doing it for over 20 years.

We have one in the den, one for each guest room, two in main bedroom. I try to give away all that I can.
