2024 best restaurants? 20th anniversary trip.

Hi, folks! Question for the experts.

We have decided to spend our 20th WDW this spring, and it will be the first time without kids since maybe 2007. That being said, our dining selections typically do not feature the fancier locations except on a random date night.

When our reservation window opens, I want to jump on this and hit the high spots.

What do you think should be at the top of our list? We aren’t picky eaters and cuisine is wide open.

We are DVC, and staying at the Poly.

We like Edison, flying fish, Narcooses, Cali grill, Topolinos, Wine bar George, Toledos, Sanaa and any of the “fancier” world showcase restaurants for date nights. We do two on each trip. Have fun!

Thank you! Narcoose’s is on the wish list for sure. We stayed at GF last year and watched fireworks several nights from the dock… smelled amazing.

Oh it’s great. We always sit at the cooking place. It’s the little bar they have at the wood burning ovens in the middle of the restaurant. The chefs there are making the salads and flatbreads and it’s fun to talk with them. The food is one of the best in my opinion

Citricos, Flying Fish, California Grill would be my top choices. I am local and dine at the resorts very frequently.

Nice. Boathouse is one we “do” take our kids to occasionally.

Although not at the theme parks, I would recommend Capa at the Four Seasons. It is amazing and has a Michelin star.

If you are not picky, go to Jaleo at Disney Springs. Just order a bunch of Tapas and enjoy. Wife and I did that a few years ago, great meal.
That same trip we did a food crawl around Disney Springs. Hit up Morimoto, STK, Jaleo, Boathouse, couple places for drinks. Was a lot of fun. Just an app in each place.

Jiko is my vote! Best food on property as far as we're concerned. And great for a date night.

We celebrated our 20th in July and did an adults only trip (it was fantastic, you will love it!). We did Flying Fish, Jiko, Chefs de France, Boathouse and Liberty Tree Tavern. Our goal was to do all new restaurants, which was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend Jiko (the wild boar appetizer is at least the 2nd best thing I've ever eaten), Flying Fish (wonderful steak) and Boathouse (great food & atmosphere) for your anniversary.

Citricos is another fantastic restaurant with a romantic, upscale atmosphere and exceptional service.

I’m so not a foodie, don’t like to spend$$$$ on a meal. However last year for dds bday I treated her to Monsieur Paul and I loved it. It helped I booked opening time reservation and got a window.

I did that because she was getting married and it was the last bday with our names the same. She did do V&A on her honeymoon and said that was even better!

They did TakumI-tei for NYE weekend and enjoyed that too.

However for my /not my dds bucket list I like Narcoosees , CG, Yachtsman's SH, HBD. I keep trying to fit Flying Fish in and hope to do so next trip.

Enjoy I look back and the special meal makes such a great memory I always feel it was worth it.

It's been several years since we went to The California Grill and we enjoyed it.
We also enjoy Ohana's for dinner and breakfast (my DH likes it more for dinner and I like it more for breakfast).
