So they give dates from Jan 9th to May 25th. You must choose one park per day for $219 or Park Hoppers for $279. Only Monday thru Fridays. You must reserve the three days when you purchase but can change them later I think. Reservation days only available through March 31st so far. Entertainment and dining reservations only on calendar through January 16th at the latest. Lots of uncertainty…I’m in though.

Edit: per DLgal, “Tickets may be used on non-consecutive days.”

You CAN'T use them on consecutive days, or you don't HAVE to use them on consecutive days?

The terms are kind of vague, but it sounds like they mean they can't be used on consecutive days. If that's what it means, they should add an "only". I'm pretty sure that it becomes pretty apparent what the policy is when trying to reserve dates.

  • Tickets expire May 25, 2023, and are not valid before January 9, 2023. Tickets may be used on nonconsecutive days.

It looked like I could choose consecutive days.

My issue is this: it wouldn’t let me purchase a ticket until I chose my 3 reservation dates- but dates are only open through early April.

Reserve random dates then cancel reservations and rebook when the ones you want are available.

Or you could buy your tickets from one of the authorized third party sellers (like UT or aRes) and not have to make reservations when you purchase the tickets (and they are slightly cheaper than direct from Disney ;) )

Cheaper than the 3- day So Cal ticket?
And we are locals so will use them on non consecutive dates.

Yes. On UT, for example, the basic 3-day, 1 park per day So Cal Res ticket (no G+) is currently $206.60. I believe this ticket is $219 from Disney. This same ticket is $204 on aRes.

But don’t those need to be used consecutively or within a defined period of time (14 days for example)?

UT is cheaper than AAA
AAA is $214 (tax included) for 3 day 1 park no genie plus

There should be zero sales tax no matter where bought from. California doesn't charge sales tax on entertainment like theme park tickets.

Likely just a fee they're trying to hide behind sales tax (usually the line says "taxes and fees").
