Hi! We are thinking of trying the 2022 British Isles cruise with our then 3 and 5 yr olds. Has anyone done this cruise with young kids? What activities or excursions did you find particularly family friendly? Thanks!

We are avid travelers and avid cruisers. Our oldest traveled and cruised extensively before COVID. Our youngest unfortunately hasn't had the same experiences yet!

Hi - not done the cruise but I live near Liverpool and I can tell you, certainly pre-Covid, the city makes a BIG fuss when the Disney Magic comes to town. I took my kids down and there were big screens showing Disney movies and fairground rides, characters and there was a massive sail away party with cheering and waving from all the the people on the shore. I’ve never experienced that anywhere else and we’ve been on the magic round Europe twice.
I notice Disney offer a Lake District Beatrix Potter port adventure, this would certainly be cute but I think it’s at least 2 hours in a coach/car each way so I’m not sure I would do that with littlies. Liverpool has some nice family friendly museums and there is an amazing Zoo in Chester. Blackpool is a very traditional seaside town in the other direction and nearer than the Lake District.
