2021 Halloween Time Superthread *September 3-October 31* *Oogie Boogie Bash Returns on Select Nights*

UGH got a charge for 2 tickets and then another for a single but unexpected eroor page. According to some reddit users confirmation emails are coming late. However what do I do with an extra ticket if so? lol.

About to give up - 3 hours and no update at all to the wait time. Disney outsourcing their virtual queue without any better results

After being charged and credited 7 times on one card and three charges on another 2 cards we finally received confirmation and received a confirmation email.... now I hope the 2 pending charges drop off. If not I will be disputing it. Took us 2 1/2 hours we have OBB tickets!!!! We're going 9/30. I had to try today as it was the only day we could go.

FYI - my page just updated @ 1205 PT to include:

"We are experiencing higher than normal wait times to purchase tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. Please remain in the queue to hold your place to purchase tickets. We appreciate your patience!"

Update from Disney Support Line (same response I added to a similar thread):

Wish I had better news to share. Just got off the phone with a REALLY nice cast member. (I can't believe I forgot to ask for her name. :(). In short, she said that it's unclear if a pending charge will eventually result in tickets. It could ... it also couldn’t. Nothing is "final" until you have a confirmation email. She advised me to remain in the queue as the IT team is actively trying to resolve the error message/time out/phantom charge issue.

She was super apologetic and honest. She shared that the support line has been inundated with requests ... to the point that “the powers that be” (my words, not hers) looked into selling tickets using alternative methods. Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out.

On the bright side, she did say that Disney would absolutely take care of any duplicative charges (though I personally suspect going through your credit card company may be faster).

So, add me to the growing list of people starting at the “more than an hour” screen.

Finally got through and got a confirmation. Now hopefully the second charge on my card goes away…. Otherwise I guess I’ll dispute

Still at more than an hour wait after being on for 4 hours. Anyone know what's sold out? Sorry to keep posting, trying to get up to 10 posts so I can DM people

This is nuts! I was in the queue before it was even a queue. I had to have been on there within 3 minutes of it going live... and still nothing5 hours later!

I joined the queue at 8:45 am, and just finished buying my tickets. I did not notice any sold out dates, but honestly I didn’t look too closely. Just be patient, you will get in!

I don’t think it helps when people log in from multiple phones and computers… so instead of 10k people on the system it looks like 20k or even 30k. But I sat for 6 hours for TOD and 5 for this… and had no problems. You will get an error if you don’t click the accept terms and conditions bit at the end…

I clicked buy at 9:03 PT and I'm still waiting with more than an hour at 3:04. I've just left the browser open while working, but I'm getting to the point where I need to get on with my life away from the screen.
This is not the worse possible process (phone would be worse) but its pretty ridiculous. I need one specific night during our trip so even though its not likely to sell out, I want to get them soon.

Oh, just as I posted that it flipped to 57 minutes so I'm on a countdown now!
It will probably take closer to 30 minutes if it says 57, mine went by quite a bit quicker. And don’t worry, when you get to the end it says it’s your turn and stays on that screen for another minute or so.

FYI - my page just updated @ 1511 PT to include:

"We are experiencing significantly higher than normal wait times to purchase tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. We are deliberately pulsing Guests through the system. Wait times may be several hours or more depending on when you joined the queue. We still have plenty of tickets available, and we plan to keep the system open throughout the night to accommodate the demand. Please don't refresh and we will get you through the queue as soon as we can, or feel free to try back at a later date. We thank you for your patience as we work to accommodate as many Guests as possible."

Still showing more than an hour to wait...sigh. Will leave it open to churn through and see if the Disney magic is on my side and I can avoid doing this again tomorrow.

Grateful for everyone's updates. Congrats to the lucky ones. You've given me hope!
