2020 Park Vue Inn hotel reservations

We're going to Disneyland to see SWGE with some friends in March 2020. Went early last month (March 2019) and stayed at Park Vue Inn. We really enjoyed staying there, especially with the free hot breakfast (and make your own waffles) and how close it is to the crosswalk on Harbor Blvd.

Well, I've been repeatedly checking the Park Vue Inn's website and they still do not have any room rates available for March 2020. I finally broke down and emailed them to inquire. Park Vue inn was prompt in responding later that day and they said to inquire back at the end of May or early June because they will have their March 2020 & beyond room rates available at that time.

I bet that they're waiting to see how popular SWGE is at Disneyland and will raise room prices accordingly.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along that info to all of you in case anybody is interested! In the meantime, I snagged a $149/night room rate at the Desert Inn & Suites next door for 4 nights instead as a back up plan. They don't have a free hot breakfast (continental only), but it's still really close to the crosswalk, so that's a huge plus!

I had a similar experience with Park Vue Inn and ended up booking at Best Western Park Place Inn. There is a convention in Anaheim the week I will be there, and rates at some hotels (e.g., Camelot Inn and Suites) are already inflated that week. I have no interest in waiting around for sixty days while rates continue to climb, just to see what Park Vue decides to put together.

I'm definitely an early planner, and PVI is always on my list of favorites that I compare rates between, but I've never seen them post rates more than 9 or 10 months out. I'm not at all surprised that they don't have March '20 listed yet.

PVI is usually our spot when we go. I like the pizza place nearby.

SInce you've stayed there before, call them. We've found we get the best rate by just calling them on the phone and mentioning that we've stayed there before.
PVI is our go-to as well.
We especially like breakfast overlooking the park. Really gets you into the spirit!
