2019 expiring tickets

When do you think Disney will begin issuing tickets with a 2019 expiration date? Does anyone think it will be tied to the next price increase ( i.e., going forward, every price increase will be tied to a new expiration date)?

That is a thought. I would expect by about November of this year at the latest, so the tix will always be good for at least a year. Keep in mind that even 'expired' tickets never lose their value. After their expiration date, they are no longer valid for entry to the park as purchased, but the amount you paid for them is still redeemable towards tickets at the prevailing prices. Changing the expiration date each time the price increases would make it easy to identify ticket values on expired tickets as well.
