Just returned from WDW trip (12/15-12/21) sharing the Disney DxDP. 2 adults in one room on the DxDP and 2 adults in another room not using any dining plan. We shared the DxDP for all 4 adults at every dining opportunity. Absolutely no problems - no raised eyebrows, no hesitation when scanning the MB which showed only 2 adults on any dining plan. In fact, at several restaurants after scanning the DP-attached MB the server would simply say "And you have plenty of credits for everyone in your party!"
The restaurants we dined at were:
Ohana dinner (4 credits used)
Monsieur Paul dinner (8 credits)
Teppan Edo lunch (4 credits)
Tiffins RoL package lunch (8 credits)
Morimoto Asia lunch (4 credits) and
Flying Fish dinner (8 credits)
We saved so much money using this shared Deluxe Dining Plan "benefit" and hope that Disney will allow its usage to be continued in the future.
