2018 September UY Points

Hi.

I will be making ressies in February for the first week in September and using up the last of my 2018 September UY points before using my September 2019 points.

Can I do above online and just make the ressie using the booking tool or do I have to first bank the 2018 points so I can use in September 2019?

You must bank the 2018’s for a Sep. 2019 reservation, or borrow 20’s. Whether you bank first or borrow, you may do all online.

Thank you. I prefer to use the 2018 first and dont think Ill have to borrow from 2020, which may be a first lol

Can I bank as Im doing the transaction for booking the room or do I need to go online the day before and bank them, which as Im typing guess I should just do it day before. Correct?

I would probably do it ahead so you can concentrate on your “primary mission” when you go online to book. You have until April 30 to bank, but as you said you want to book in February so your deadline isn’t a player. Keep in mind banking and borrowing are final transactions so many wait until they must before doing so. Good luck at 7 months!

One things when I tried the banking during the transaction was that I didn't get the confirmation email about banking. It probably doesn't matter - we don't get one when borrowing and it might have been a aberration but just something that may be different between the two methods.

Your September 2018 Use year, runs from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019. Since you want to make a reservation in early September 2019, that will then be in the 2019 Use year. So you will need to bank your 2018 points in order to use them in Srptember of 2019.

Under your membership you'll see a link to Vacation Points. Click that and you'll be at the section to select to bank.
