Has anyone attended either of these for the new year? Would like to know if there were any changes or updates to the Holiday Time Tour, what is offered, seating location this year as well as the WOC Dessert seating and offerings. Pictures would be wonderful if at all possible. We will be there this coming Wednesday and planning on attending both. Very excited as this will be my first time during Christmas. Strange I've never gone during this season. :santa::cool1:

these are from the dessert party. we were seated behind the people with the dining packages. We had a high top table and chairs. We got there around seven and i lined up at the podium early. The podium was right by the Little Mermaid Ride. We were signed in and as each party signed in we were assigned tables, after they were all set up we were seated.

after the tour was over we were seated across from Small World. Everyone got a Gingerbread Cookie, souvenier mug with Hot Chocolate, a fastpass and a gift

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We are doing the exact same ones... We are doing the Tour on Wednesday and the WOC on Friday, I'm sort of glad you have to prepay. No worries about additional expense on there.

So you also get a fastpass, is it to a specific ride or any ride? We are staying at the GCH so we do get early entry but I really want to make sure we do both It's a Small World and Haunted Mansion. They look great. Even though we live in California we have done WDW during the holidays many times and I haven't been too impressed with their decorations for either. The video that was posted her looks like DL did an amazing job with their overlay! YAY

Hi, just wondering how early you need to be in line for the Dessert party that starts at 8:15 and Woc at 9? Those pictures of the desserts look great!

Fabulous. I’m very excited. I’ve done the holiday tour a couple of times and don’t recall going into both parks. Maybe that’s how they’re compensating for no rides during the tour.

I'm ALWAYS early for it and typiclaly the first or second person on line at 7-7:15pm. I've gotten to know the CM's working quite well and they always welcome me back :)
Last year I did it at the end of the season and sadly they ran out of the gingerbread cookies. Fun fact from last year - the gingerbread cookies were made locally and therefore couldn't get all the ingridients to last the season so they had to substitite an item. I was so sad but appreciated they didn't substitue a subpar product.

The photos look great !

Does anyone know if you book the later WOC show at 9:45 pm if they let you stay seated down for the midnight NYE celebration ? Or do they kick you out of the seating area and have to wait in the regular FP area ?

Thanks !

We are thinking of doing the Holiday tour this Nov. 2018. We only have 3 full days this trip so I am wondering if I should be taking the time out for a tour, but I have never been on this and it sounds interesting. What exactly do you get to see. Any behind the scenes, or is it more an explanation with statistics on what you can see yourself in the park?

Don’t waste your time. It is boring and the only thing you can’t do yourself is have seats for the Christmas parade. But with some organising you can do this as well if you book the plaza inn Christmas parade dinning package. It is a reserved area and if it is the same area as last plaza parade dinning package and you arrive early enough there is some bench seating.
You could save yourself time and money by doing it yourself.

Thanks for your reply. It is what I needed to hear! I have little enough time without wasting some of it. Maybe some time when I have time for extras. With all the food to eat from all the holiday kiosks, I don't know what I was thinking anyway! lol
