2017 Halloween Character Costumes

I've only been to Disneyland once during Halloween time, but I think I'm going in October and taking my first grader on a surprise trip. Do they change the Mickey and Minnie's Halloween costumes every year? About when might we expect to see what the 2017 Minnie Halloween costume will look like?

I don't think they change the costumes very often. I scrolled back through my photos and it looks like they were wearing the same costumes in 2014 that they were wearing last year. The Mickey/Minnie faces have changed, but the costumes looks largely the same. DisneyGeek has a close-up of Minnie's costume from last year.

My guess is that if they debut a new costume this year, they'll either post information on the Parks Blog at some point after they make the general HalloweenTime announcement (usually in early-to-mid-July) or they won't say anything and we won't hear anything until HalloweenTime starts and first photos are posted.

They usually have several costumes, but are pretty consistent about what is worn where within a season.

We went during Halloween Time in 2015.

Sorry, but we didn't go during Halloween last year, so no idea if they stayed with these costumes or switched things up.

I don't have any photos of Mickey or Minnie at MHP, but the costumes at Town Square and during the Toontown Pre-Party were the same in 2016 as the ones posted by mom2rtk of 2015. From some of the photos I've seen of 2016 MHP, Mickey and Minnie's costumes were also the same ones from 2015. So it looks like none of the costumes have changed for the last few years (at least).

I can confirm that the MHP party outfits were the same last year. I think I have photos dating back to 2008 with those outfits.
