I thought we realized that the two credit glitch was based in the special thanksgiving event pricing.

With booking opening today, I find it hard to believe they would sell the plan with the current info, and then change it later. The amount of angry complaints they would have to deal with from people who had already booked and paid would be astronomical.

This works for us - we usually get the DDP. Hate picking a dessert for the sake of it with a QS meal and it always ends up in the bin or offered to a child on a table nearby. Would love to have the option of having a QS and then walking out and using a snack credit to get a snack of my choice - not some chocolate mousse I don't want

I like that they added an additional snack to the regular dining plan. I don't mind that they took away the dessert from the counter service meals since we tend to use those for lunch and really don't need a dessert for lunch

I can not see Tiffin's as 1 credit with the current menu. How could the quality of the dishes be maintained to justify the prices while charging just 1 credit on the ddp? Wouldn't the restaurant loose too much money?

I think Tiffins is a mistake, given its a new restaurant whoever checked the brochure didn't realise. I'd be pretty certain it will be fixed. But the two-credit buffet thing does sounds like its more related to Thanksgiving.

I just added the 2017 Regular Dining Plan to my DVC reservation in January. The very nice CM gave me a total price for everyone (children & adults) but could not tell me a per person per night price. Does anyone know how much the adult price per person per night is?

I just saw this information on wdwinfo.

Quick service plan will remove the dessert but give everyone two snack credits. In the past, you received three snack credits per day plus dessert with the meal.


The regular plan will also remove dessert from quick service meals.
Deluxe will have two snack credits per day too.

They change menu prices and the price of the DDP mid-year. And they have changed the number of credits needed for a particular restaurant mid year, so they can do it. The brochures all say that details can change at any time. Once you book and put a deposit down on your package, they won't change the price of your package, so you pay the same. But they can change what you get for the plan at any time.

I LOVE this change and wish it was effective this summer. I pretty much never want to eat dessert at a QS restaurant. not good enough choices usually. I'd MUCH rather change it for another snack of my choice anywhere anytime

I know the Touring Plan blog is not an "official" source, but according to them, the price of the Deluxe plan in 2017 is actually LESS than 2016?? The quoted adult price in 2016 was $111 per night and now it's $103 per night?
I can confirmed that I booked a package today with the Deluxe Dining plan and it was at the $103 price.

Those are the numbers I see too. They appear to be LESS than last year. When does anything ever get cheaper at Disney??

The only one that is less is the DxDDP. QSDP has gone up $2.20 and the DDP $3.63.

I have a feeling someone messed up when they loaded that deluxe pricing. Seems like it should be $10 higher.

I am happy about the dessert/snack change. I actually think we would use the extra snack credit more than trying to cram in a dessert at a QS. As long as the character buffets stay 1 credit and don't change like the rumor states, we will be going with the DDP.

I was happy to see that the QS and regular dining plan did not go up too much. I am still deciding what I plan to do. Right now I am leaning towards just paying out of pocket since I will be going with my two teenagers. So, we will not be doing any character meals. If my husband decides to join us than we might go with the regular dining plan since we will eat more table service meals as opposed to the CS meals that I anticipate my kids will just want to grab and go so we have more ride time.
