2017 05/06 O'hana for Breakfast & Dinner/ Magic Kingdom

Later start to this day or so I thought. 10:20 reservations but we had to return the rental car. So left room I think at about 9 drove to Disney Car Care Center. Dropped off car. Really painless, so glad we rented a car. Go Alamo. Got a shuttle ride to the Polynesian for our Ohana Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Shuttle drivers were very personable. Disney never ceases to impress.
Only had to wait 15 minutes or so.
Breakfast was good I loved their juice (I think it was mango) YUMM!!. Logan actually ate the stitch waffles without complaining. Another family style breakfast . Met Mickey, then Lilo , Pluto and of course Stitch...




Stitch came over and started rubbing Logan's head, cause his hat looked just like him...
Logan started rubbing Stitch's head back...neither wanted to stop first..hilarious moment....



Left O'hana about noon and rode the monrail to the Magic Kingdom.

Saturday May 6 - day 7 (last day) part 2

After finishing breakfast at Ohana rode the monrail to magic kingdom.
Did not really feel like rushing so I cancelled the Big Thunder Mountain fastpass, we had rode it on wednesday and Logan did not care for it anyway, so wasn't too dissappointed.
Grabbed a quick jungle cruise fast pass while walking into park. So walked there and rode that.

Then We wandered frontierland and kids talked us into riding the Magic carpet ride. Not impressed. Very carnical feeling riding considering waiting 15 minutes for ride.


played in the misters for a while...

Then Went to our 12:35-1:35 fp for Haunted mansion. Lizzy liked this more than I expected and Logan didn’t like it at all.

Something we did notice during this trip is , whichever kid rode with dad liked it more than when riding with mom. I think the roller coasters I was able to snug them in tighter so they didn’t slide and bounce around. I guess that’s something to make dad feel better.

Rode our 1:35-2:35 fp for 7dwarfs minetrain. Was gonna turn around and ride it again with our anytime fastpass from Trattoria Al Forno but both kids had rode it 5 times and were actually bored with it. so I saved the fast pass.


we found a spot near the hall of presidents and watched the Parade at 3. I missed a lot of it because I had to be ready to check-in with southwest 24 hours ahead of time. So 3:30 on the dot I had to be on phone. checking-in.



So then we went to splash mountain again and used the fast pass we got from Trattoria al forno. We really enjoyed Splash MOuntain.


Kids played in the laugh zone for a while.


Then we headed over to Buzz’s ranger ride, used broke down 7dwarfs fast pass.

Buzz's ride was more fun than I expected, but I suppose a lot has to do with expectation going into the rides.

Logan loved controlling the direction of cart.


So now was the time we had to leave Magic Kingdom for the last time. Lizzy was very sad, she kept tearing up and looking back.
But we headed for our dinner reservations at O'hana.

a little sad looking back at Magic Kingdom..

Monorailled to our O'hana dinner reservations...

Lapu Lapu was yummi yummi

Steak was awesome. And that is saying something since I grew in Nebraska and my wife is an Iowa farm girl. We know our steaks.


Kids had a riot with coconut races. And hulu lessons.

Then we sadly rode monorail back to tta, we jumped on the bus back to resort.

Kids played in the pool again.
